Surprise!
We have a clutch of lotls ready to leave and meet new people.

Things have been very busy here at Fleurieu Axolotls so we haven't had the time or honestly the energy to share updates however I'm happy to announce AXO26 #1.
This clutch has the following morphs/colour types;
• Wild type (mottled)
• Melanoid (black)
• Leucistic (white with shiny gold eyes)
• Melanoid Leucistic (white with black eyes)

AXO26 #1 is a clutch that are to be pet only. Their genetics are unknown as this clutch was given to me by a local aquarium store when they were only a few days to a week old. As a result we have 49 avaliable that are now 2 months old.

Not yet eating defrosted foods or pellets.
They're still on a diet of mostly live blackworms, live daphnia, chopped african nightcrawler earthworms and an occasional live small neocaridina shrimp.
You may find some of these guys at Marine Plus when they start taking pellets and other non live foods.

Once we have confirmed you have a cycled 20L minimum tank with a 3ft tank at least cycling if not already cycled/ established we will agree to let you get one of these adorable little ones.
Each one will come with a pack with some things to help you out with the start of their care.
In the pack you'll get;
- 1 week supply of live blackworms per axolotl
- x1 mini sponge filter
- physical copy of our care guide
- physical copy of our food supplier list

All have been tubbed individually so there are no accidental nipping and so everyone gets enough food without competition for steady growth.

Anyone coming to the Adelaide Animal Expo Sunday/ tomorrow?

If not then you should!
There are so many unusual and unique things to see along side the amazing dogs and beautiful cats, so many animals to interact with and tons to learn.

If you're looking for advice on cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, amphibians and more whether it's due to your interest in keeping/ owning any of the listed above or general curiosity there are many wonderful people here who'll answer any questions you have.

Here at site 58 of the Adelaide Animal Expo, I'll be there with not only adult axolotls and a juvenile mosaic, but also other juveniles, babies, hatchlings and eggs!

We will also have fish, shrimp, snails, a spotted marsh tadpole and more on display.
If you're looking for live foods such as blackworms, nightcrawlers & brine shrimp eggs or something to boost your bioactive enclosures with, such as isopods & springtails then we have you covered!
We will also have pond-grown vallisneria plants, aquarium-grown duckweed (common and giant types), small sponge filters and handmade spawning mops avaliable.

While we do have quite a few juvenile axolotls ready and looking for new families, you won't be able to take them back home until after the expo is done. This is due to them being part of the display as well as ethical reasons for the lotls 😊

Buy 4 bettas, get 22% off total amount (not including shipping fee
Buy 5+ bettas, get $4 off per fish

*This offer is only for BETTA_MARBLE24 #01, does not extend to the avatar clutch (BETTA_AVATAR25 #1)

This clutch is now 1 year old so I honestly would like to move them on asap as they’ve been here for far longer than intended so it’s because of this that we’ve made a decision that we won’t be producing standard size marble bettas in the future, simply due to the lack of public interest.
It is also because of this that we won’t be pairing our giant marble bettas unless there is a demand for them.

If none are sold by September 26th they will all be taken to Marine Plus Lonsdale to sell where the staff there can choose how much to sell them for (normally $30+ each).

*Australian buyers only sorry, we don’t export living critters internationally.
