🐴 First Showjumping Day for Aali & Eva! 🥰

Aali and Eva headed to Mogill Pony Club on the weekend for their very first showjumping event! Both were a little nervous in the morning, but those nerves soon wore off, and they both had an amazing day! ❤️

🌟 Aali & Fifi – Unofficial 40cm Under 12s

Aali and Fifi had a fantastic day in a large class, finishing 4th overall! 🎉

🏅 4th in AM7 🏅 7th in AM5

They put in some lovely, controlled rounds and showed great composure out there. They were clear in AM5, but unfortunately picked up a penalty for a circle a loooong way from the jump! 😂 Still, such a great effort and plenty to be proud of!

🌟 Eva & Timmy – Unofficial 30cm

Eva and Timmy had an absolutely amazing day! These two were on fire! 🔥

🥉 3rd in AM7 🥇 1st in AM5 🏆 1st overall!

The goal for the day was simply to have a go and have fun, we think it's safe to say they're hooked! 🥰🐴

To top it all off, the girls also took home Best Dressed Team! 👗🎀

A huge thank you to all the sponsors who helped make the day special, especially Cavaleria Equestrian. Your support is greatly appreciated! 💖

Our SGVPC Campdrafters headed out to the Kilcoy PC Campdraft over the weekend! 🤠🐴

Elsa certainly had her work cut out for her, with one particularly determined beast making things challenging in the camp not once, but twice! 💪 It was a tough day at the office, but these are the moments that test our skills, patience and horsemanship.

Well done to Elsa, Thomas, Glenn and Ruth who got out there and gave it their best over the weekend! 👏

🏆 Zone Team Challenge Champions! 🏆

Three of our Samford riders headed to Southport yesterday to compete in the annual Pony Club Queensland Zone Team Challenge.

While equestrian sports are often an individual pursuit, this event gives riders the opportunity to join forces in teams of three and compete against other zones, making it a much-loved highlight of the pony club calendar!

We’re incredibly proud to share that all three Samford riders were part of their respective age group Champion Teams! 🎉

🥇 Claire – 12 & Under Champion Team
🥇 Ella and Audrey – 13–26 Years Champion Team

Congratulations, girls! Good luck to our Samford riders competing in the mixed challenge today. 💚💛

🐴 A little update from Caitlin! 💛

Caitlin has ticked off one of her dreams, taking Trumby to Equimillion in Sydney! Alongside grooming four other horses for Jess, she also took out an amazing 4th place in the 95cm Amateur Eventing with her main man. 🏆

She’s continuing to work hard and ride a variety of horses, with competitions and travel keeping most weekends busy.

After all the hard work, she’s looking forward to heading home for a well-deserved mini-break at the end of the month. 😊

Well done, Caitlin! What a fantastic achievement! 👏🐎 And to think she started right here at SGVPC!
