Come for a coffee, stay for breakfast, wander around the farm and enjoy a little country escape.

This is why you need to visit my farm. ❤️🐐🐑🐓

It’s not just about the animals. It’s about how they make you feel. ❤️

The smiles, the joy of connecting with animals who each have their own little personalities.

There’s something pretty special about slowing down, getting outdoors and forgetting about the rest of the world for a while.

These photos say more than I ever could. This is what I love most about sharing my little farm with you. Eventhough the animals are to be engaged with thru the fences, a Farm Experience booked thru my website will allow you to get nice and close.

You don’t need a special occasion. Sometimes you just need a coffee, some fresh country air and a little animal therapy. 🥰

Some days on the farm are just really hard. 💔

This morning we lost our beautiful Angela, our white Angora goat. She was a character- a flirt, moody, very pretty and always on for a scratch.

She’d been having a very difficult pregnancy in the last day, and despite everything, she passed away peacefully this morning.

I’m sitting in the car making this video because today I’m just really sad.

People often see the lovely side of farm life — feeding the animals, cuddles, babies being born, funny personalities and all the beautiful moments we get to share with visitors.

But this is part of farm life too.

When you care for animals, you become incredibly attached to them. You know their personalities, their little habits, who they like to be with and where you’ll usually find them. And when you lose one, it hurts.

So if you visit us and my team seem a little quieter than usual, this is why.

Today the farm feels a little different without Angela. 🤍

Rest peacefully, beautiful girl. You were very loved. 🐐🤍

It’s a beautiful place to come. It is a farm I have opened to the public because I understand just how important it is for city folk to understand the serenity and calm of farm animals and walking in nature. I don’t charge a fee so it can fit everyone’s budget.

Comments from grandmothers - ‘it reminds me of growing up’.
That’s what makes City Chicks so special a place. And the cafe food is pretty damn good as well.😊

Today I’m featuring the top of the farm where the big boys hang out. Turkeys, geese, ducks and our stunning silkies that are for sale.
