🐾 Meet Mini – proof that a tiny microchip can make a lifetime of difference. ❤️

Mini went missing from her home in October 2023. Her family searched tirelessly for their beloved girl, but despite every effort, there were no leads.

Fast forward to June 2026... the phone rang.

The RSPCA had found a dog, and thanks to Mini's up-to-date microchip details, they were able to contact her owners.

After years apart, Mini was finally reunited with the family who never stopped loving her. 🥹💕

This beautiful reunion was only possible because her owners had kept her microchip information current.

✨ Is your pet's microchip linked to your current phone number and address?

If you're not sure, contact My Own Vet. We're happy to help you check and update your pet's microchip details, because one small update today could make all the difference tomorrow. 🐶🐱💙

🐦💛 FOUND LITTLE FEATHERBABY 💛🐦

This sweet little kiddo was found on Highgate Street, Coopers Plains, after being picked on by some other birds. 😢

The good news is that they've received treatment for their injuries and are now safe, warm, and being spoiled with lots of TLC. 🥰

Now we're hoping to find this precious little one's family or flock, so they can be reunited with the people (or birdies!) who love them most. 💕

If you recognise this cutie or know where they might belong, please reach out to us.

📍 Currently being cared for at My Own Vet.

Miss Winnie after her TPLO surgery, insisting on specialist-level service. 👑✨

Princess Winnie has made it very clear that all meals must now be hand-fed following her specialist procedure. 🍗🐶

And honestly, who are we to argue with royalty? 💕

Because princesses deserve princess treatment, and here at My Own Vet, we know your fur babies are family. That's why we make sure every patient gets the extra love, care, and cuddles they deserve. 🐾💗

POV: A Tuesday night as a Veterinary Nurse 🐾

• Accepting a tiny stray kitten into care at 6pm. 🐱

• Knowing that where there's one kitten, there's usually more... so heading back to the spot at 7pm with kitten food, kitten noises playing from your phone, and a whole lot of hope. Even when random strangers stop to tell you they're "really off their face." 😅

• All completely unpaid.

The risk vs reward is definitely debatable... but then this little baby curls up, feels safe for the first time in who knows how long, and drifts off to sleep with the sweetest little smile. 💛

Suddenly, every minute, every step, and every personal sacrifice feels worth it.

If you're around Salisbury Train Station, please keep an eye out for any other kittens that may be hiding nearby. Our nurses would sleep a whole lot better knowing they're safe and warm too. 🐾✨

Look… if you think we’re slacking, maybe you’re right 🤭

Meet our newest receptionist, Sully 🐾
Sully came in to work off his debt after most likely eating something he definitely shouldn’t have 😅

Unfortunately, he wasn’t exactly employee of the month material… as you can see, he fell asleep on the job 💤

Thankfully, he’s ridiculously cute, so we’ve decided to let it slide this time 💛

In future, we’ll definitely be checking resumes a little more thoroughly 😂
