Kerrie Searle - Animal Communicator Giving a voice to the animals so that they can communicate with their human companions Consultations are done via Skype for interstate or overseas residents.

I communicate with all species of animals and work in Australia and Internationally. My life purpose is to give animals a voice and I do this by acting as a translator between animals and their human companions. This allows the animals to bring their stories, guidance and wisdom to humans as well as allowing their human companions to ask any questions or discuss any topics they desire. I also use the Australian Bush Flower Essences and Bach Flower Essences to assist in any healing that may be needed. This brings a deeper connection and understanding as well as strengthening the bond between the animal and their human companion.

A dolphin performing for tourists may seem far removed from the violence of Taiji’s Cove. It is not.
The international captive dolphin industry creates demand for animals taken alive from the hunts. Refusing dolphin shows, swim programs and captive encounters means refusing to support the market that helps keep live capture profitable.

The 2026/27 Taiji drive hunt quota sets the number of dolphins hunters are permitted to capture for the aquarium trade or kill for meat in Japan’s drive hunts.

In recent years, the number of dolphins captured or killed has fallen well below the quota, while more advocates in Japan are speaking out and pushing for change.

But the captive dolphin industry continues to give these hunts economic value. Ending the hunts means ending the demand for dolphins in captivity.

This needs to stop!

Every year in Taiji, dolphin families are driven into the Cove. Some are killed. Others are selected alive for captivity, separated from their pods and sold into a life of performance and confinement.
The connection matters. Marine parks, dolphin shows and swim programs create demand for live dolphins. As long as people keep buying tickets, that demand has a reason to continue.

Bred to be raced, confined, exported, injured and discarded when they're no longer 'profitable'.

Born to be loved for the gentle, loyal, loving individuals they are.

Greyhounds — like every dog — are companions, not commodities.

More than 60 dolphins have reportedly died at Kolmården Zoo since its dolphinarium opened in 1969. Now, serious concerns surrounding Luna’s prolonged illness and 213 days of antibiotic treatment have brought the facility’s animal welfare record back into focus.
Kolmården announced the dolphinarium’s closure in 2022, yet ten dolphins remain confined and continue to perform. How many more warnings will it take before their suffering is finally brought to an end?

The Australian Government has just proposed to fully protect over 670,000 km² of additional ocean around Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands, which would be one of the largest single expansions of Australian marine sanctuaries in decades.

Lord Howe sits on the humpback whale migration highway. Norfolk shelters some of the most isolated cetacean populations in the Pacific. S***m whales, bottlenose dolphins, seabirds, and reef systems still being discovered.

But before it becomes a reality, a 60 day public consultation on the proposal is open until 30 September 2026.

Captivity does not begin in a pool. For many dolphins, it begins with terror in Taiji’s Cove.

Families are driven together, lives are decided by profit, and marine parks help keep this cruel cycle alive. Pledge never to buy a ticket to a captive dolphin show.

UPDATE: Victoria’s dangerous new hunting bill is not law, yet.

After an enormous wave of public pressure and scrutiny, the Outdoor Recreation Victoria bill was debated into the early hours in the upper house, where MPs from the Animal Justice Party, The Greens and the Coalition forced its most concerning details onto the public record.

And what became clear was alarming: some of the very politicians supporting this bill did not appear to fully understand what they were voting for.

The Allan government rejected every amendment to protect animals, the environment and public scrutiny, while supporting changes that hand even more power to shooters.

But pressure from people like you has delayed the formation of a new superagency for hunting interests that was meant to begin on July 1. The bill must now return to the lower house - giving us one more critical chance to make MPs understand exactly what they are voting on.

The Allan government thought they could push this dangerous hunting law through quietly, but thousands of compassionate voices like yours didn’t let that happen.

The odds are still heavily stacked against animals. But this bill is not law yet. And after everything this debate exposed, MPs cannot be allowed to vote again without understanding exactly what they are signing off on.

Please take urgent action now to let them know https://animalsaus.co/4xoEzwE

The UK passed a law meant to stop travel companies from selling tickets to low welfare animal attractions overseas. On paper, it was a step forward. In reality, almost three years later, the law is still stuck waiting for the final rules that would make it work.
That delay matters. While the government waits, companies can still promote places where dolphins and orcas are kept in tanks and used for entertainment.
If it would not be accepted in the UK, it should not be sold to UK holidaymakers abroad. Read the blog, share it, and tell UK officials it is time to bring this law into force.
