Harvey (aka Harvey the Goldendoodle ) came into hospital for a dermal cyst removal and dental clean 🦷🪥

This handsome boy is prone to developing cysts and these can sometimes become infected. He was treated with antibiotics 💊 before having surgery because the cyst had ruptured and we try to avoid operating on infected skin.

We’ll be closed Monday 8th June for the public holiday, so it will only be Mia manning the phones ☎️ from 5pm Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately she’s not overly reliable and is often found napping on the job 😴

🐾 Meet the Team: Chloe 🐾

Many of you will already know Chloe as one of the friendly faces who greets you when you walk through our doors!
Before joining the veterinary industry, Chloe spent many years working with animals as a dedicated zoo keeper, gaining invaluable experience caring for a wide variety of species.

She has been an important part of our reception team for the past three years and is known for her calm, capable nature. No matter what challenges the day brings, Chloe always helps keep the clinic running smoothly and ensures both our patients and their people feel welcome and supported.

You may start seeing a little less of Chloe at the front desk, as she begins an exciting new chapter with us. Chloe is currently transitioning into a trainee veterinary nurse role while undertaking her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. We’re absolutely loving having her out the back with the nursing team and are so excited to watch her grow in her new role.
We can’t wait to see the wonderful veterinary nurse Chloe will become! 💙🐾

We were very lucky to spend Wilbur’s 6th birthday with him! 🐾🦷

This handsome gentleman came in for a dental procedure, including a scale and polish, as well as the extraction of some diseased teeth.

Dental disease is very common in our pets and regular dental care is essential to reducing the risk of more serious disease below the gum line developing. Addressing it early can make a big difference to their comfort and long-term wellbeing.

Wilbur was an absolute superstar throughout his stay 💙

Happy 6th birthday, Wilbur! Here’s to many more healthy, happy years ahead 🐾✨
