Hooray! It’s foal season 🐴🩵 Already I have heard a few sad stories so here’s some info that may help! PHOTO ONE shows a curious foal a couple of hours old, foals are inquisitive, they drink, they sleep, they stretch when they get up and have a little play! ✅👌 PHOTO TWO is a foal about the same age, born easily to a maiden mare who loved him but kept turning around to keep him in front of her every time he tried to drink. He’s weak, lethargic and his legs are tucked up not stretched out. 🐴 We want curious foals 👀😉 not sad foals🥺 🐴Get them checked out, do your IgG blood tests at 18-24 hours old. 🤗
