It will come as no surprise that I love and live horses. They are my work and my hobby. I am in awe of the mastery and partnership between horses and riders and drivers while watching the World Championships over the last couple of weeks. 💫 (and the cutting, campdrafting and Stockmans challenge in between 😉)
Patience, consistency and such a high level of care for the horses. The message…build a partnership with your horse, don’t be in a hurry, show up consistently, look after them and the magic will happen 💫
If you think this can’t be you, you’re mistaken. Sophia Hill rode an OTT thoroughbred to finish on her dressage score in Eventing 👌
If you think you’re too old the mighty Andrew Hoy st 67 and Vasili de Lassos finished in 6th place among the strongest Eventing field I can remember in a long time. 🧡
Mary Hanna, 71 years young competed in the World Champs Dressage again and is still going strong.
One of my favourites has been Simone Pearce and Will Marq who made the Kur final in only their fourth Grand Prix show and in true Australian style had to wing a test, all with the biggest smile on her face 😁
The show jumpers are building strong 💪
I missed Bridget Murphy and her amazing mare after a health scare meant Bridget withdrew from para Dressage 🙏
Good luck Boyd Exell and Team Australia 🇦🇺 driving for his 12th Championship in Aachen our time tonight 🙏💪💚💛🐐
Enjoy your horses! Look after them well 🙏
