Long time no post! 🐾

I hope everyone and their pooches have been well and I miss you all but I’ve been adjusting to mum life!

We welcomed our baby boy 5 weeks ago!
Wilder Rune Smart
Born breech at 37 weeks old via cesarean , 6lb 8oz and 51cm long.

He’s been a fantastic baby so far and super cute even though we may be a little bias! 💙
Pearl loves him… a little too much at times and we have to keep her calm and not licking him. 😆
Cannon isn’t too interested but he’s smart and knows what’s come next when he starts moving around. 😆

Good Morning Everyone!

Lockdown is in effect and Bark Raving Mad will be closed this week. Just like previous times, dog groomers have been informed that our services are non essential at this stage.
All customers will be contacted and this weeks appointments will be rescheduled, if anyone has any inquires feel free to send me a message and I will get back to you.

Happy Monday everyone!

I have an update and unfortunately I will be having to close up business a little earlier than expected. Baby and I are fine but I’m taking the advise of the doctor for precaution.

I will now be finishing up on the 31st of July. I will try to make sure I get everyone in that has existing appointments done before then but I may have limited spots to fit anyone else in I’m sorry, I will try my best though.

It was a sad and hard decision to make but it was the best one for health and that always comes first.
I will be posting a list of groomers who have all given me their details for you all to contact for future appointments, I’ll pin it to the top of my page here so it’s easy to find.

I will be back at some point though and will be sure to let everyone know! I’ll always be here to message and chat though! 🐾💜☺️

To all my wonderful customers it’s time to let the cat... or should I say dog 😆 out of the bag.

Troy and I are expecting and baby boy this October! 💙👶🏻

Im 20weeks now so I’ll still be grooming for now, so no worries at all to anyone with appointments. I will give everyone plenty of notice of when I expect to head off on maternity leave. I will also get everyone some new grooming contacts. ☺️🐾

I thank everyone for your kind patience the past few months as I’ve been quietly navigating some sickness, headaches and all the fun things that go with pregnancy!
But it’s time for us to get excited for the new journey ahead!

🐾Pearl is going to be a little off the fact she won’t be the baby anymore but she’ll at least be the only baby girl still! 😂 that and both her and Cannon will love when the food starts to drop off the high chair. Hahah 🐾

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are all safe and well during lockdown and your doggies are helping you by showing you all how to chill out while having to be at home. I know Pearl and Cannon are masters of this and I am following their lead... laying on the couch with them has been a complete success so far.

Just a quick update - we (Dog Groomers) have been informed that dog grooming services are a non essential service during this time and have been advised that we are all to stay home, not open salons and that all non essential travel is banned.
So Bark Raving Mad will be closed this week and will be revised at the end of the lockdown once we have heard more on the situation.
All customers have been contacted for this week and appointments have been rescheduled, if anyone has any inquires or just wants to chat during this time feel free to send me a message and I will get back to you. :)

So it’s a wrap for the year for Bark Raving Mad and rack off 2020. Not the ending I really wanted at all with my trailer having to be towed to the mechanics on a tow truck. (Pics below)

Massive shout out to Andrew at Alltype Mobile Mechanics for organising literally everything for me and getting my trailer towed to him where it will get fixed up. If anyone ever needs anything mechanical done I cannot recommend him enough. Absolute legend.

Also Troy for dropping everything at work to come and look at the damage before I lost my s**t haha. 💜

To all my customers over the last few years in Baldivis and surrounds, I will miss you and your dogs so much. I will always be grateful for the support everyone has shown my business and never thought I’d be as successful as I have been because of of you all.
I will be messaging for doggy pics from time to time. 😉

I hope everyone can chill and spend time with family and friends. This year had been hard on everyone and this should be the time to reflect and look forward to the new year! Eat... drink... be merry... hug your loved ones.

When I get a salon I hope to see a few friendly faces even if it’s just a visit. 😉

💥ANNOUNCEMENT 💥
Bark Raving Mad is Relocating

Good morning everyone!
Now this announcement has not come easily and I have been back and forth with my emotions and thoughts for the last few months on what to do with my business.

As some of you may know I have been living in Roleystone for the past year as we bought a lovely property up here. I have been travelling everyday down to Baldivis and the surrounds and sometimes even further south over this past year. At first it was not really an issue but as time progressed it has been something that has come up time and again due to the extra time I’ve had to spend away from home, family and friends. Time taken away from communications for my business due to having to leave early morning and get home late evenings to fit everyone in. And time taken from my dogs who hardly get to see me at all. 😢
After everything that has been happening this year with personal maters, covid etc it has made me reevaluate what I need for my work/life balance and also my mental health, physical heath and the happiness of my home life.

So I sadly have to announce that from January 2021 Bark Raving Mad will be relocating to service mobile grooming in the hills and surrounds area.
My long term goal will be to find a salon space up here, I will update when I do for anyone who would like to bring their doggies up to me in the future.

I have to take the time to say a MASSIVE thank you to all of you and your amazing dogs who I have had the pleasure of grooming over the last 3 years and a MASSIVE thank you for the support of my business. I feel like I have made so many wonderful connections with both owners and their pets and it will be extremely sad for me to say goodbye to you all. I hope you can all understand why I’ve had make this decision as hard as it is.

I will create a list of both mobile and salon groomers in the area who you can start to contact for your grooms from next year.

Also you may see me and my trailer in the area from time to time so please feel free to say hello! I have family and close friends in the area who’s dogs I will still be grooming when I pop in for visits.

Again my heart breaks for this decision but it had to be made. I thank you to every single person and dog that has supported my business I will miss all my beautiful fluffy friends.

I’ll see you all over the coming weeks leading up to Christmas!
