We had two does give birth to 5 healthy kits each on the same day luckily!!!

One built an amazing nest, and one didn’t build a nest at all and I found her babies scattered!!! I was not confident she would look after them even if I made her a nest, so I made the decision to surrogate them to our other doe Freddo.

Not ideal to have 10 in a nest - but I wasn’t left with much choice.

All babies are thriving and healthy!! I couldn’t be prouder of this amazing doe!!
