Had the pleasure of looking after a kangaroo joey, a flock of geese, chickens and some beautiful doggos up in the rural The Caves area last week.

Australia has some of the most amazing sunsets in the world, and seeing views like this almost daily while travelling throughout the CQ region reminds me that sometimes it’s the simple things in life that power us all.

Appreciate the small things. Cherish the people who are present in your life. Remember the memories of those who have passed, and be grateful for what you have in the present — while still leaving the door open for everything you’re working towards in the future.

A little update from me on Cozy Keepers 🐾

For those of you who have been following the journey, Cozy Keepers has grown a lot quicker than I expected since launching here in Central Queensland.

Over the past few months I’ve been learning a lot about what it really costs to run our premium service — with fuel hikes, travel, insurance, equipment, time and making sure I can continue giving every client and their pets the level of care I want Cozy Keepers to be known for.

So this week I finalized a small pricing update that will take effect from 1 October 2026.

I’ve tried to keep the increases reasonable and importantly, any existing confirmed bookings will keep the pricing already agreed.
I’m also giving anyone who is currently thinking about booking ahead, the opportunity to lock in the current pricing by confirming their booking before 1 October, even if their actual care dates are later in the year.

For me, this isn’t just about increasing prices. It’s about making sure Cozy Keepers remains sustainable, reliable and able to keep growing without compromising the quality of care.

To everyone who has booked me, recommended me, shared the page, referred friends or simply supported what I’m building — thank you. It genuinely means a lot.

Still early days, but I’m pretty proud of where Cozy Keepers is heading. 🐾💙
