Sweet Great Dane cross, Tina visited us recently for her arthritis injection. 🐶❤
This innovative therapy is called monoclonal antibody. It is a biological therapy that works like your dog's immune system. It targets and neutralises a protein that stimulates pain in patients with arthritis! 🎯
Through this action, one subcutaneous injection alleviates pain for a full month. This treatment is extremely safe and can be used alongside other common therapies e.g. vaccines, parasite control, antibiotics etc.
Unfortunately, dogs can't tell us when they are in pain so it's important to look out for signs of arthritis such as:
🐾 reduced mobility
🐾 difficulty in rising and standing
