At the Australian Labradoodle Association, we believe informed breeders raise exceptional puppies.
That’s why all ALA breeder members are required to undertake ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each year in order to renew their membership.
Our breeders participate in online education sessions with invited experts covering a wide range of topics related to breeding, puppy development, animal welfare, ethics, health, behaviour and best practice puppy raising. Every second year, we also hold a national breeders conference, providing opportunities for further education, collaboration, networking and community building amongst our members.
Professional development can also include mentoring new breeders, contributing educational presentations, and sharing knowledge and experience with fellow members.
As a professional organisation, we are committed to maintaining high standards and ensuring our members remain informed, accountable and up to date with current knowledge and best practice.
When you choose an ALA breeder, you can be confident you are dealing with someone committed to lifelong learning, ethical breeding, and the wellbeing of every puppy they raise.
