🥁 DRUM ROLL PLEASE… SAKURA HAS A NEW NAME! 🥁
Well, we certainly asked the right people for help!
When we put the call out for name suggestions for our last little Japan Litter girl, you absolutely delivered. We had a mountain of fabulous names for her family to work their way through — which may or may not have made their decision even harder!
But… a decision has finally been made.
Sakura is now IVY. 🌿
And when her family explained why they chose it, we thought it was just perfect.
Ivy is a plant that clings tightly, and its symbolism is associated with strong friendship and lasting devotion — which her family felt pretty much sums up a Groodle personality.
Add in the bouncy, fun little personality we're already seeing from this gorgeous girl, and Ivy suddenly feels like it was waiting for her all along. 🥹
Thank you to everyone who joined in with suggestions and helped her family through their very serious naming dilemma. We loved reading every single one.
So, our Japan Litter is officially complete:
Misty • Poppy • Rolex • Dolly • Tilly • Ivy
Welcome to your new name, little Ivy. We think it suits you beautifully.

This little lady STILL needs a name! 🖤💛
This gorgeous little girl, with her shiny black coat, bright yellow collar and the most fun little personality, is heading home very soon… and she is still nameless!
Her birth name is Sakura from our Japan Litter, but while her siblings have officially become Rolex, Dolly, Poppy, Tilly and Misty, Sakura's new mama is still trying to find the one.
And her new mama is a Libra… so if you know, you know. 😂
Making a final decision may not exactly be her superpower!
So we're calling in reinforcements…

Oh Rolex.... you ridiculously gorgeous little man!!
Rolex is such a handsome, kind and loving little guy, with the sweetest nature to match that gorgeous face.
He is going to make his new family so incredibly happy, and we already know there are going to be some very excited people when collection day finally arrives!
Thankfully, we still get to keep him for a little over another week, giving us plenty of time for more adventures, new experiences and lots of gentle confidence-building as we prepare him for his big wide world.
And, of course, plenty more cuddles for us before we have to say goodbye.

☀️ A little Adelaide Groodles Public Service Announcement as we head towards summer! 🐾

The warmer weather is coming, which means beach trips, river days, park zoomies and plenty more time outside with our dogs.

It also means there are a few extra things we need to keep an eye on — hot weather with those beautiful fluffy coats, grass seeds hiding in ALL the places, hot ground under their paws and those gorgeous floppy Groodle ears after swimming.

Just a few little reminders for everyone as we head into the warmer months.

We absolutely want our dogs out there swimming, running, exploring and having the best time with their families — we just want them doing it safely.

Bring on summer… and the wet, sandy Groodles!
