Sweet Indie, a 2-year-old mixed breed dog, recently spent the night with the team at MASH while receiving treatment for some troublesome a**l gland issues.

Despite her stay in hospital, Indie kept everyone's spirits high with her bouncy personality. The team loved showering her with plenty of cuddles, and lots of kisses.🐶✨

We're so happy to see this gorgeous girl feeling brighter, and we wish her a speedy recovery at home. Thank you Indie, for bringing so many smiles to our team! 💕

Who said hospital fashion couldn't be fabulous? 😍❤️

Meet the handsome chihuahua X called Bobby. Safe to say he had every single one of our vets and nurses wrapped around his tiny paws! 🐾✨

Between all the cuddles, treats, and admiring comments, Bobby certainly stole the spotlight and reminded us that sometimes the smallest patients also have the biggest personalities.

We hope Bobby's adorable outfit brightens your day just as much as it brightened ours! ❤️ Bobby is wishing everyone a fabulous weekend, stay warm, stay cosy, and if you can, be as fabulously dressed as Bobby! 🧣🐶✨

🩸 Meet our hero, Nina! ❤️🐾

This beautiful Borzoi recently visited MASH to do something truly incredible: donate blood to help save the life of another critically ill dog in need.

Blood donations can make all the difference in an emergency, giving our team the precious time they need to treat patients facing trauma, surgery, severe anaemia, and other life-threatening conditions. Every donation has the potential to save multiple lives.

Could your dog be our next lifesaver? We are urgently looking for more canine blood donors to help ensure blood is always available when our patients need it most.

To be eligible, your dog must:
🩸 Be healthy
🩸 Be fully vaccinated
🩸 Be between 1–7 years of age
🩸 Weigh more than 22 kg

If you think your furry friend could become one of our amazing blood donors, we'd love to hear from you. By donating just a small amount of blood, they could help save another dog's life when every second counts.

Every blood donor receives a free health check, blood test and bag of dog food for free!

Ending the week with the sweetest little Nugget 🐾🤎

This adorable Cavoodle knows exactly how to do winter right, snuggled up warm and cosy in her blanket, enjoying a delicious piece of chicken and soaking up all the comfort she deserves. 🥰🧣

Nugget is a perfect reminder that chilly days are best spent rugged up, feeling loved, and enjoying the little things (especially tasty treats! 🍗).

Dr Atlas reporting for duty! 🩺💙

Who knew our four-legged patients could make such handsome doctors? Atlas the gorgeous Rottweiler cross was more than happy to swap places with the team, looking incredibly dapper in his surgical scrub cap and stethoscope.

We think he has all the makings of a MASH veterinarian, excellent bedside manners, plenty of charm, and of course, the most important qualification... being ridiculously cute! 🐾

Safe to say he stole plenty of hearts during his visit. We hope to see you again soon, Dr Atlas! 🩺✨

**🐾 Hunter's Big Adventure at MASH 🐾**

At just 2 months old, Hunter the adorable German Shorthaired Pointer found himself making an unexpected visit to MASH after suffering a fracture of his left calcaneus (heel bone). While we're not exactly sure how the injury happened, it may have occurred during playtime or an accident at home.

After a thorough assessment and reviewing Hunter's X-rays, our Surgery team confirmed a transverse fracture of the left calcaneus. The good news? Being such a young pup means Hunter's growth plates are still open, giving him excellent healing potential with the right treatment.

Hunter underwent surgery to carefully realign and stabilise the fracture using pins and a figure of eight tension band wire.

A tricky little predicament for Boo! 🐾💙

Five-year-old Dachshund Boo found himself in a very unusual situation after jumping around in his carrier during a car ride and accidentally getting his paw caught in a metal clip attached to the carrier. Unable to free himself, Boo was rushed to our Emergency team for help.

To keep him comfortable and ensure the safest possible removal, Boo was given appropriate pain relief while our team carefully freed his paw from the metal clip. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and before long this brave little guy was feeling much happier and on his way home with his very relieved family. 🥹✨

It just goes to show that even the most unexpected accidents can happen in the blink of an eye. We're so glad Boo made a full recovery and was able to head home safe and sound! ❤️

If you have any new or gently used towels or blankets that you're no longer using, we'd love to give them a second life helping our hospitalised patients stay warm, cosy and comfortable during their recovery.

**We are not able to accept:** Pillowcases, Flat sheets or Fitted sheets

Donations can be dropped off at our hospital reception anytime.

Every towel and blanket makes a difference, and we're so thankful for the incredible support our community continues to show our patients and team. ❤️🐾
