MonElite Dobermanns Good looking, smart, loyal family pets and show/obedience dogs. It all started when I was a child and my uncle had wire haired fox terriers that he was showing.

I was in love with his dogs and shows, but my parents deny me of a pet. When asked as a child, if I want a brother or a sister I would answer that I want a dog. Never got one, all up waited 30 years to buy one. And it was Rex. The best dog that ever walked on earth and I had a privilege to walk 10+ years with him. Rex was officially known as Grand Champion Alldobe Strike It Lucky ET. He won endless show titles, Best in Show Specialty and All Breeds, Royal Easter Show Best of Breed, and he was a National winner in 2003. When younger he was naughty on occasion but later in life couldn't put a foot wrong. He lives by his progeny all around Australia and beyond. I learned about shows, obedience, contracts, breeding. Good, bad and the ugly. And came to my own conclusion as what to do, and what and how to breed, what to look for in dogs and what to look for in puppy buyers.

Envy, Bliss, Luna and Cynder had their annual echo heart screening with Dr Neik Beijerink today.
The Dobermann Club of NSW in conjunction with the Dalmatian club of NSW organised this clinic and we are very greatful for the work that goes into this every year.

There were aprox 15 dobermanns screened today from all walks of life, different lines and origins. I’m told that all had great results.

The funniest, most entertaining comedian dog I have ever had turns 6 today. I have no idea how the 6 years have gone so fast and she is apparently an adult dog for many years now.
The nightmares of raising the litter of 16 still make me consider my life choices and question my sanity.
Happy birthday to Bliss and all her siblings.

Being a helper at most scent work trials means we go and search early on, or very late. Quite often that comes with missing out on being captured by photographers.
Here are some photos from recent trials of Sava - Ch MonElite Born Oh So Savvy SWA competing in Excellent Exteriors and Containers, captured by Ben Williams.

It’s been well over 3 years since Envy did IGP tracks. She doesn’t want to be a lazy retired dog, and while she isn’t competing in anything, she needs to do “stuff”.
The absolute joy in her eyes when I’ve put the fur saver on and attached the long line nearly brought tears to my eyes. She was sooooo happy, then spotted the start flag and did a play bow to it 😂 😍.
Smashed IGP3 type track, maybe it wasn’t perfect but who cares, she loved it.

Superstars Sava and Bliss have done some great work (also not so great but we won’t talk about it lol)
Sava got 3 passes in excellent and now is only 2 passes away from her SWE title. She has an attention span of a flee in that adolescent brain, but somehow keeps chipping away at those passes needed to progress and now at 16 months of age is eligible compete at masters level.
Bliss has gained a second pass towards her Ultimate title.
Thank you to Golden Retriever and One Pack clubs for well run trials despite endless challenges you faced.
