Kaia 2 year old Female Desexed— Looking for the Right Forever Home 🐾
She is from Domino and Rival litter.

We are looking for a very special, experienced home for Kaia, our beautiful 2.5-year-old Doberman girl.
This is not a decision we have made lightly. Kaia is a sweet, loving, affectionate and incredibly loyal girl with so much personality. However, she has some behavioural needs that mean she requires the right environment, an experienced owner and someone genuinely willing to continue working with her. We want to be completely transparent about Kaia's needs because finding the right home is our absolute priority.
Important things to know about Kaia:
- Kaia is dog reactive and does not cope well with other dogs in close proximity. She can warm up to other dogs with time and careful management, but we believe she would be best suited to being the only dog in the household.
- She is not suitable for a home with young children.
- She needs a secure home with a large yard or property where she has plenty of space and can feel safe.
- Her new owner will need to be confident, experienced and committed to ongoing training and behavioural management.
- Kaia needs structure, patience, consistency and individual attention, as well as an owner who genuinely has the time to dedicate to her.
- She is house trained and knows her basic commands, including sit, stay, heel, lay down, come and wait. She has been crate trained in the past
- Kaia is an inside/outside dog and enjoys being part of the family. She is very attached to her master.
- When left alone for extended periods, Kaia can excessively bark and therefore has been wearing a barking collar to help manage this behaviour.
- She is energetic, playful and loves chasing a ball. She needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. She has a large prey drive for playing ball and can be excessive at times.
- She is fed a hybrid diet or kibble and meat
- She has some dryness to her skin and scars to her shoulders from a desexing procedure
- She has become reactive to people on scooters and has nipped at people
Despite her challenges, Kaia has so many wonderful qualities. She is affectionate, loyal, intelligent and full of personality. With the right person, the right environment and consistent guidance, we truly believe she can thrive.
❤️ What we are looking for
We are not looking for just any home for Kaia. We are looking for someone who understands Dobermans, understands that Kaia will require ongoing management and is prepared to give her the stability, patience and one-on-one attention she deserves.
This is not a casual rehoming. We will be very selective about where Kaia goes, and the suitability of the home will always come before simply finding her somewhere to live.
