I did have a little rant about dog parks today, how and why we can them strategically.

This vid is an example of some of the training excercises we do on the outside of our local dog park.

No matter what dogs are in there, she's dialled into this activity with me.
We built this from a pup. And we've been coming here since she was a pup.

We also use the dog park spaces when it suits us, just never at times of high arousal, ardrenaline fuelled chaos 😅

Had a great session today building confidence, working on engagement games and helping to ensure Charlie feels safe and secure in his environment.

For a nervous dog these are big things but with clear communication, the right reward systems and intentional training with a plan in mind we will get this gorgeous young boy where he deserves to be 🪷🤍🪷

Always grateful to be able to work with the most dedicated foster carers and new foster dogs.
This is Misty, we met this week and she is an absolute gem.

Her carer is putting in so much work and care, as well as the team at Forever Friends who, as always wrap their arms around every animal in need that they possibly can.

Misty is settling in, very early days, and I look forward to being a part of her adoption journey

Very excited for this one!
If we've worked together, you know I have a strong passion for the power of playing with our dogs - there is just so much in it, and we're not talking fetch ;)

No matter whether you have a pet or sport dog, this workshop will inspire & encourage you no doubt, to start, keep or advance the training you do together!

You know it's an absolute treat for me to get to work with Boston's...anytime. Ever.
As a Boston mum I have a unique insight into living with, developing and training these incredible and highly motivated, playful dogs.

This absolutely lovely family are settling into a new area and environment and we are working on helping that process and well as building confidence and foundational training for younger boy Serge.

He did incredibly well in our session and I am really looking forward to hearing how it's all going!

This guy! Max 🥰

With an exceptionally dedicated mum who has been committed to his training since she adopted him, it's been an absolute pleasure being a part of their journey.

Max had some pretty strong environmental sensitivities (some of which still exist)
and overall lack of training, trust and guidance in the world but with dedication and commitment he has flourished.

With some expected bumps along the way and the occasional issue to work through, Max is definitely one of the lucky ones.

Look forward to their next progress report.

9 month old Yorkie Bentley was an absolute ripper in his home session yesterday.

He's learning the rules of how to interact and live with his older sister, Maltese Clancy.

As well as learning a whole range of foundational skills and play.

Bentley is a very fast learner, food and play motivated with a very optimistic, happy attitude!
All great attributes to set up him super well for a happy life full of all the good stuff.

His humans were also wonderful in his session, taking everything on board and excited for what's ahead.

Looking forward to their progress report!
