The call that made me cry β and then made me build a course. π΄π
A few years ago, I lost a horse. Not because the emergency was unsurvivable. Not because the owner didn't care. But because the delay was too long.
The owner noticed something at 6pm. Thought the horse would be better by morning. Called me at 7am. By the time I got there, it was too late.
I stood in that paddock, hand on that horse's neck, and thought: What if this owner had known? What if she'd had the confidence to call at 6pm? What if she'd checked vital signs and realised the severity?
The outcome could have been completely different.
I went home that night and started writing what would eventually become "When Minutes Matter." Every module, every lesson, every word exists because of moments like that one.
I can't change the past. But I can change the future. One horse owner at a time.
