The Vet Confusion

Everyone: "You should really get a dog for the house!"
Me: "I literally have one right here."

The vet says her breed is a little unusual, her paws look weirdly split, and her barks sound suspiciously like a human yell, but she loves her doghouse and looks dashing in her harness.

Tell me honestly… do I really need a dog when I have this cutie on security duty? 😂👀

Meet the Flock Friday: Say Hello to Kevin & Lola! 🌿

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to introduce two of the stars of our aviary—meet Kevin and Lola, our California quail breeding pair!

With their signature topknots and charming personalities, these two are always keeping things lively. Kevin takes his lookout duties very seriously (head plume held high!), while Lola is curious, gentle, and always on the hunt for her favorite treats.

Together, they make the sweetest duo and play a special part in our flock family.

Drop a comment to say hi to Kevin & Lola, and let us know what flock members you'd love to meet next! 🌾✨

Proof that miniature goats are just tiny, chaotic demons disguised as adorable stuffed animals. 🐐💥😂

Throwing it back to when they were small enough to fit inside the house—which was a huge mistake, by the way. I thought I was getting cute little lawn mowers, but I accidentally signed up for a tiny goat-themed circus run by professional escape artists.

No regrets, though. Look at that face! Who else has livestock that completely rules their household? 👑👇

🐓 Meet the Flock Friday: The Hawkins Crew! 🐓

Welcome to Hawkins, home to our gorgeous Cuckoo Brahma breeding trio! If you’re a fan of Stranger Things, you’ll feel right at home with this crew.

🐔 Hopper (Rooster): The protective, majestic leader of the flock, keeping a watchful eye over everyone

🐓 Joyce (Hen): Not just a pretty face—this stunning lady took home 2nd place at the Stanthorpe show earlier this year! 🏆

🐓 Max (Hen): Spirited, curious, and always ready to see what’s going on around the coop.

Brahmas are such gentle giants with their heavily feathered feet and calm personalities, and this trio is extra special.
