Meet Nas 🤍

This beautiful boy has the kindest soul, and those eyes just melt me every time.

Nas lives with Cushing’s disease, a condition where the body produces too much cortisol. It can affect a dog’s energy, skin and coat, so we take his grooms at a pace that feels comfortable for him, with plenty of patience and gentle care.

He really is such a special boy, and I feel so lucky his mumma chose me to pamper him.

One on one grooming with anxious, nervous or stressed dogs is the part of my job I love most. Watching a dog grow more comfortable, at their own pace, means everything to me.

This is Alfie’s story. From his first groom with me to where he is now, it’s been so special to see the progress he’s made. We’ve taken our time, given him plenty of reassurance and let him build confidence one visit at a time.

Every dog is different, and progress doesn’t have to happen all at once. I’m so proud of you, Alfie. Thank you to his family for trusting me with him.

Meet Charlie, one of my beautiful Tigerlily Groodle puppies. He lives on a farm and has just had his first haircut. Keeping his coat comfortable and easy to maintain is a priority, especially as the weather warms up.

If you welcome a Tigerlily Groodle from me, their early learning starts here. We begin early neurological stimulation (ENS) from day two. From four weeks old, we gently introduce baths, blow drying, nail trims and the sound and feel of clippers, building familiarity and confidence.

As a groomer, I can often see which puppies have been set up for success with early grooming exposure and which haven’t had that same preparation. Puppies familiar with the process tend to feel more comfortable, while those experiencing everything for the first time can find it overwhelming. That’s why those early introductions matter so much

Whatever breed you choose, if their coat needs regular grooming, ask your breeder What grooming experiences has my puppy had, and how often?

Keep that learning going at home with gentle brushing every second day, followed by a quality comb to check for hidden knots. Short sessions, treats and praise make a difference.

A little demo on Mr Rocket’s gorgeous Groodle feet.

I’m showing you the difference between using a slicker brush and a comb while finishing off his groom and why the comb is so important for finding those sneaky knots hiding close to the skin.

The slicker brush fluffs the coat, but the comb checks that you’ve brushed all the way through.
