✨ A Little Sneak Peek... ✨

If you've noticed I've been a little quieter than usual lately, I promise I've not disappeared! 😂

For the past couple of weeks I've been working away behind the scenes building the new BritRoyal website, and if there's one thing I've learnt about myself... it's that I'm ridiculously particular when it comes to details and colour themes🤦‍♀️😂

What was meant to be a simple project somehow turned into creating both a desktop version AND a mobile version because apparently I don't know how to do things by halves and then kept getting more great idea's to add 😅

There may have been moments of frustration, coffee-fuelled late nights, and a few occasions where I seriously considered banging my head against the wall... but I'm finally starting to love how it's coming together 🥹💕

I'm just working through the finishing touches now and hoping to have everything up and running by the end of the week.

So if I'm a little absent over the next few days, you'll know where I've disappeared to! ❤️

This handsome little man has already wrapped his future family around his tiny paws, and the countdown is officially on! 🥹🐾

In just a few short weeks, he'll be heading off on his next adventure alongside his brother, where a very excited family are eagerly waiting to welcome them home.

Watching these babies grow, develop their personalities, is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. ❤️

For now, we'll be soaking up every cuddle, every purr, and every one of those adorable little faces before they begin their next chapter.

BritRoyal is a small, family-run British Shorthair & British Longhair cattery based on the Mid North Coast of NSW and registered with CatsNSW 🐾

My goal has never simply been to “sell kittens.”
This journey was built from a genuine love of animals and the comfort, companionship and healing they can bring during some of life’s hardest moments ❤️

Our kittens are raised in-home, underfoot, and handled daily to help build confident, affectionate temperaments and smooth transitions into their forever homes 🥰

Our Pet kittens generally range from approximately $2,500–$4,000 depending on colour, pattern, coat type, breeding lines and whether they are considered pet or breeding quality 🐾 and we are willing to work WITH other ethical registered breeders 😺

I understand not every family has thousands sitting there ready all at once, so where suitable I may offer:
✔️ Weekly or fortnightly payment plans
✔️ Extended timeframes
✔️ Advanced lay-by options before kitten season

($500 non-refundable deposit required to secure a kitten)

✨ Australia-Wide Transport Available
We happily assist with arranging both air and road pet transport Australia-wide ✈️🚗 you would be surprised that it really doesnt cost as much as one might presume.

🤎 Why do we offer flexible payment plans? 🤎

Because I know what it feels like to fall in love with an animal that heals a part of you.

Long before BritRoyal Cattery became what it is today, I was just a girl who found comfort in animals during some of the hardest periods of my life. My animals weren’t “just pets” they became family, emotional support, companionship, routine, and a safe place during chaos.

That’s something I’ve never forgotten.
Over time I’ve spoken with so many beautiful families who genuinely adore our kittens, but sometimes life, timing, or finances make things difficult. And honestly… I understand that. Most everyday families don’t just have thousands of dollars sitting there ready to go, especially when they’re trying to do things responsibly. (Even I have to make arrangements when buying).

That’s why, where I can, I try to offer flexible payment options and extra time. Not because I’m a big business but because I’m human too.

Some options we may offer include:
($500 non refundable deposit is always required)

🐾 Standard payment plans suitable to you
🐾 Weekly or fortnightly payments suitable to you no lock in set weekly/fortnightly amount.
🐾 Extended timeframes where suitable
🐾 Advanced lay-by options allowing families to start with smaller weekly payments before kitten season, then choose their kitten once babies arrive ✨

Of course, flexibility always comes down to communication, trust, and commitment from both sides, as once a kitten is reserved we continue investing time, care, vet work, vaccinations, feeding, and desexing into that baby 🐻👑

At the end of the day, this has never just been about “selling kittens” for me. It’s about raising beautiful companions, building towards my goals and helping connect them with the right families ❤️

✨ EDUCATIONAL POST ✨

One thing that surprises a lot of people when owning cats especially British Shorthairs and Longhairs is just how important regular maintenance and preventative care really is ❤️

Things like coat care, nail trims, ear and eye cleaning, dental care, weight monitoring and parasite prevention all play a huge role in keeping cats healthy and comfortable long-term 😊

As breeders, this kind of care becomes part of our everyday routine and is often done behind the scenes so I thought I’d start sharing more educational posts and helpful guides along the way 🥰

✨ Sometimes the kittens we let go end up exactly where they were always meant to be ❤️

Who remembers our beautiful little chocolate tortie bicolour girl that we originally planned to keep for our breeding program? In the end, we made the decision to let her go to a lovely local family… and seeing these updates has honestly been so special 🥹

Watching her become part of their everyday life it’s the kind of bond every breeder hopes for when their babies leave home ❤️

There’s so much controversy online about female cats supposedly not being as affectionate or family-oriented, but Tonks is proof that girls can be just as loving, loyal, gentle, and involved in family life as the boys 🥰

One thing we’ve always prioritised in our breeding program is temperament. Our breeding cats are chosen not only for health and type, but for their calm, affectionate and family-friendly personalities too, because we truly believe beautiful temperaments matter just as much as beautiful looks ❤️

Her family have told us she has genuinely changed their lives, and honestly, that means more to us than any breeding plan ever could. Seeing one of our babies so deeply loved, safe, and truly part of a family is the most rewarding feeling, Im so happy for tonk's and her beautiful family ❤️✨

✨ Updated Kitten Care Schedule at BritRoyal Cattery ✨

After ongoing discussions with our veterinarians, we’ve decided to make some updates to our kitten care schedule to better support the long-term health, safety, and recovery of our babies ❤️

Our updated schedule will now be:

🐾 6 weeks old – First F3 vaccination
🐾 10 weeks old – Second F3 vaccination & microchip
🐾 14 weeks old – Third F3 vaccination & spey/desex procedure

We’ve also chosen to microchip a little later, as the needle is quite large for tiny babies and we feel allowing a little more growth is a kinder approach ❤️

Previously we did first vaccination at 7 weeks old along with Microchip and 2nd vaccination along with spey/desex at 12 weeks old and did not provide 3rd vaccination.

Post op recovery time will remain the same.
✨ Girls will stay with us a minimum of 7 days post-op
✨ Boys will stay with us a minimum of 5 days post-op

Overall this only means our kittens will be leaving approximately 2 weeks older than before, but we truly believe this gives them the safest and healthiest start possible 🥰
