This National Endangered Species Day, weโre taking a closer look at some of the endangered animals in our own backyard.
Australia is home to some of the worldโs most unique wildlife โ but sadly, we also have one of the highest extinction rates on the planet.
Today weโre highlighting a few of our most endangered native species and why they urgently need protection.
