This big boof is Bentley!
Bentley’s first visit went like this:
Sedated, 2 hours of growling, snapping, snarling, barking, snatching legs, jumping around in the sling on the table and a slippery eel in the tub, overall a totally wally. 🫣
Bentleys second visit today went like this:
No sedation, 70 minutes, some whining and barking at the blower, NO snapping, snarling, barking, NO snatching legs or movement on the table or tub, overall a total legend. 🥰
How?
On his first visit, i ignored him like a crazy ex, all his efforts to deter me like his previous groomers failed. No matter what he did I just kept doing what I was doing, unfazed and unbothered. He was not in pain, he was not uncomfortable, he was just being a jerk because he learned that he could be. Breed experience tells me that a dramatic border collie will take 3 miles if you give them 3 centimetres, so just don’t give them anything. 🤣
