🐾Great news for our pet parents!

We’re excited to make vet visits a little easier with our new FetchPay integration. 🐶🐱

🧡 What does this mean for you?

If you have pet insurance with FetchPay, you’ll now only need to pay the gap for any approved claims, rather than paying the full vet bill upfront and waiting for your insurance reimbursement.

That means less financial stress and more time to focus on what matters most — keeping your furry family members happy and healthy! 🐾❤️

Have questions? Speak with our friendly team to find out more about using FetchPay at your next visit.

A fantastic educational case shared by our clinic.

These images show severe dental disease, including X-rays revealing a jaw fracture caused by infection and bone loss.

This post is shared with owner consent to raise awareness about the importance of dental health in our pets. Often, owners are unaware of how severe dental disease has become, as many pets will continue eating and acting normally despite experiencing significant pain.

The good news is that this patient has now received the treatment and ongoing care needed to relieve their pain and improve their quality of life.

And a little reassurance for pet owners: pets generally adapt incredibly well to having teeth removed - and often feel even better afterwards! 🐾

26/07/2019

One of our most frequently asked questions here at Kingsmill is when should my puppy have its first vaccine?

We strongly advise your puppy’s first vaccine should fall on the 8-week mark. The second at 12 weeks, and the third at 16 weeks.

Call us today on 9172 1608 to make an appointment for your new pup!

28/06/2019

One of our most frequently asked questions here at Kingsmill Street Vet Clinic is will my dog still be protective of my house once sterilised?

Dogs have the amazing ability to be able to sense fear or adrenaline from an unwanted guest on your property. With that being said, like humans, dogs use the flight or fight instinct too so no, sterilising your animal does not take away these characteristics, it is a behaviour trait they they’re born with.

Meet our Vet Nurse Chelsea! 😃

Chelsea previously volunteered at Kingsmill Street Vet Clinic for 18 months prior to taking on a full-time position with the practice. She is currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has a special interest in neonatal care. In her spare time Chelsea is busy hand-raising and caring for foster kittens. Say hi to Chelsea next time you visit Kingsmill!
