Harrison Farrier Service

❤️ An Important Harrison Farrier Services Update ❤️

This is a post we never thought we would have to make, but after a lot of difficult conversations and many late nights trying to make everything work, Blake has made the incredibly hard decision to permanently finish travelling to Adelaide and Kangaroo Island for farrier work.

Due to our family circumstances, Blake needs to be closer to home and spend more time here helping with our family and the kids. This decision definitely hasn’t come lightly, and saying goodbye to these trips and the amazing clients Blake has built relationships with over the years is incredibly hard.

We cannot thank our Adelaide and Kangaroo Island clients enough for all of the support, loyalty, friendships and trust you’ve given Blake and Harrison Farrier Services. ❤️ We genuinely appreciate every single one of you.

Blake will be completing his final two trips:

🐴 15th–21st October
🐴 25th November–2nd December

After the December trip, Blake will no longer be travelling to Adelaide or Kangaroo Island and will be focusing on local weekend work closer to home.

We completely understand that our clients may have questions about upcoming appointments, horses or what happens from here. Please don’t hesitate to send us a message with any questions or concerns — we’re more than happy to have a chat and help where we can.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Blake and our little family over the years. It truly means more to us than you know. ❤️

Sharing some Oakleigh Charm love.

Did you know that while Emily does all the bookwork and organising for me, looks after the kids and keeps everything running behind the scenes, she also runs her own business too.

For all the horsey people looking for a cool way to display your ribbons, check out Oakleigh Charm.

A great way to display all those hard-earned ribbons.

🐴🏅 Personalised Horse Ribbon Holders 🏅🐴

A special way to display all those hard-earned ribbons instead of having them tucked away in a drawer! ❤️

This one was made for Oakleigh & Jessington Electric Gold, and I absolutely love how it turned out. 🥹🐴

✨ Personalised with horse & rider’s names
✨ Beautiful engraved horse design
✨ Plenty of room to hang your ribbons
✨ Perfect for pony club, shows, gymkhanas and competitions
✨ More rails can be added for those growing ribbon collections!

These would make a gorgeous keepsake or gift for any little (or big!) horse lover. 🐎🎀

Personalised ribbon holders are now available to order through Oakleigh Charm.
Message me to order or chat about your own design. ❤️

Well, we’re officially back! 🎉

We had our first day back today and we’re so excited to be back on the road… well, some people are excited and some definitely aren’t! 😂

Just a couple of things as we settle back into work with our new family of four:

🔹 We’re now using Xero again for all invoices. This will make things much easier for both Blake and me, especially now that we’re juggling life with two little ones. You may notice your invoices look a little different, but they’ll still arrive as normal.

🔹 Please be patient with us. We’re incredibly busy at the moment, and with two kids, when one is asleep the other is usually awake! We may take a little longer than usual to reply to messages and emails, and sometimes you might receive replies late at night when we finally get a quiet moment. We really appreciate your understanding and patience.

Thank you all for your continued support while we’ve been on parental leave. We can’t wait to catch up with everyone and see all our wonderful clients again! 🐴❤️
