Felicity Cats

Hey guys, it’s been a minute since I posted here - we took our winter break and social media detox seriously this time around

Now, a vulnerable post for me incoming...
After hours of inner debate, guilt and sadness, I know I have no choice but to take this step.

Being a breeder means I constantly have to keep the best of our kittens for the future of our breeding program (which is the fun part). But inevitably, this also means that some of our mature cats eventually have to be desexed and find their new homes (definitely NOT the fun part 💔).

Yes, I already have quite a collection of “retirees” here - my son’s pet cat, my disabled cat, my concubine cat 😂 (a desexed girl whose important job is keeping the boys company while the other girls are pregnant or busy raising babies)... and there is only so much room in one house and only so much of me to go around.

So this year, we have a few serious OG Felicity Cats celebrities who have accomplished their professional show & breeding careers and have finally transitioned into a completely different stage of life:

Being a loved and cherished pet cat.
No job.
No reproductive responsibilities of being a mum or dad.
No hormone cycles.
No grooming and preparation for cat shows.
No responsibilities whatsoever.
Just enjoying a beautiful, ridiculously spoilt life as the main creature of the house. 👑

Anyhow, before I make this post last forever...

We are now looking for the absolute best homes to spoil and adore three of our very special retirees:
🤎 Masik - British Shorthair, our macho man and the “babies’ daddy”
🤎 Belka - Highland Fold, our incredibly sweet and kind girl
🩶 Anitra - Scottish Fold, our little princess
I’ll make a separate post for each of these guys shortly with more about their personalities, history and what kind of home I’m hoping to find for each of them.

More information is already available on our website:

NAME UPDATE!!! 🎉

Thank you so much, my friends, for all the amazing name ideas!!! 💛

It wasn’t easy to choose, I have to say (plus I’m a Libra ♎️, so double the pain when it comes to making decisions 😂).

As many of you know, I LOOOOOVE old English traditional and royal names 👑, as well as the Greek Gods and some ethnic unique names, but I also have a soft spot for the quirky and funny ones too!

Since we already have Winston and Wesley in our extended Felicity Cats family, the top two contenders came down to:

🥃 Wh***ey
🧇 Waffle

And the winner iiiiiiiiiis….. 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

🧇 WAFFLE!!! 👏👏👏👏

Welcome to the family, little man 💛
P.S. we also have Bread & Toast, Peaches, Pancake & Butterscotch in our collection

This little golden nugget needs a name! 💛
W litter boy - and my brain has officially stopped producing W names 😅
Any ideas?

Sometimes a kitten comes along that makes you stop and stare every time you walk into the room.
This boy is one of those kittens. 💛

In a world that feels a bit all over the place, I’m just grateful I can give them this ☝️ a safe, calm, ridiculously comfy little cat life paradise. A little place where I control the peace & stability ✌️🐾
So do many of you - don’t underestimate your role in the global equilibrium.
