This boy is eager to please, a very quick learner and has a lovely willing nature. He has the breeding, movement and ability to make a very competitive Western Performance horse in the right hands or with the right guidance.

For someone wanting to enjoy the journey before he is old enough to start under saddle, Ted has the potential to have plenty of fun with Lunge Line, Trail, HIH and Showmanship. I believe he has the ability to be very competitive and take someone to the top.

Today’s flashback is a very special boy — Max, Fantasia One Hot Rendition

One of the things I love most about breeding is receiving updates on the horses we have bred and watching their lives unfold after they leave Fantasia Park. I absolutely love getting Max updates. ❤️

From the little foal we welcomed into the world, to watching him grow and eventually leave us for his new home, and now seeing him started under saddle — it makes me incredibly proud.

Max has once again shown that beautiful Fantasia Park nature and temperament we strive so hard to breed. His breaker and owner have had no issues with him at all. He has simply taken everything in his stride — willing, sensible and wanting to please. 🥰

The photos tell his story — from the day he was born, through his time growing up at Fantasia Park, to the day he left us. The final three are from his owner, showing Max when he first arrived with her and now today. ❤️

This is why I love receiving updates. We may breed them and raise them, but seeing them happy, loved and becoming exactly the horses we hoped they would be is pretty special.

Today we said farewell to one gelding I’m certainly going to miss seeing every day. ❤️

Harry — FANTASIA THE OLYMPIAN — left this morning to join his wonderful new family and begin his next chapter.

It’s always bittersweet watching one of your homebred horses leave, especially one as special as Harry. I know he has found a beautiful home, and I wish Harry and his new family a fantastic life together filled with lots of wonderful adventures and memories.

I’ll miss seeing that beautiful face every day. Be a good boy, Harry. 🥹❤️

To say I’m extremely proud of what Charlie — JUSTICE FOR ME — has achieved this season is an understatement. ❤️

In less than 10 shows, this incredible boy has achieved things I could only have dreamed of. But when I look back, what makes his story even more special is that we weren’t looking for Charlie.

He simply came into our lives.

Sometimes I truly believe certain horses are meant to find us, and with Charlie, the stars just seemed to align. ✨

I will forever be grateful to Neva for trusting me with this very special boy and allowing him to call Fantasia Park home. That trust has meant more to me than I can put into words. Neva has never stopped being there for Charlie — always only a phone call away, always interested in how he is going, and without question still his No. 1 fan. 🥰❤️

Charlie’s achievements also simply would not have happened without my trainers, JSS QH’s — Jason and Sam Smith.

The hours behind the scenes, the preparation, the care and attention you give him, and the way you present him every time he walks into that show ring are such a huge part of his success. I am incredibly grateful to have you beside me on this journey. ❤️

I also never want to forget the people who were part of Charlie’s story long before he became mine.

To Daryll Stephen and Samantha Daley, Charlie’s breeder and someone involved with him right from the beginning — thank you for breeding this beautiful boy and giving him such a wonderful start in life. There is something very special about being able to share what he has gone on to achieve with the person who was there when his story first began. ❤️

And to Michelle Wilkie, breeder of Charlie’s sire, WP Seeking Justice — Diesel — thank you for breeding such an exceptional sire and for always sharing in Charlie’s journey and achievements. The influence Diesel has had is something we are incredibly proud of.

There have also been so many people along the way who have helped us, encouraged us, stood ringside, celebrated the wins, sent beautiful messages and simply supported Charlie and me. I may not be able to name every single person, but please know I haven’t forgotten any of you and I am genuinely grateful. ❤️

Yes, the ribbons, titles and achievements are something I am incredibly proud of — especially in such a short period of time — but Charlie himself is what I am most proud of.

He has become such a special part of Fantasia Park, and I honestly cannot imagine our show team without him now.

Funny how life works sometimes…

We weren’t looking for him.
But perhaps Charlie was always meant to find us. ❤️✨

This is one horse I genuinely never thought I would offer for sale.

Stanley is an exceptional young c**t who has already proven himself in the show pen, earning his ROM in Halter and becoming a Futurity Winner in limited outings.

He is fully show trained, super laid-back and incredibly easy to do anything with. He has a beautiful temperament, plenty of presence and is the type of c**t who makes showing enjoyable.

The decision to offer Stanley has not been an easy one. I always thought he would remain here at Fantasia Park, but I have reached a time in my life where I want to slow down, reduce my numbers and take some time for me.

That means making some very difficult decisions and offering horses I honestly never thought I would sell.

Stanley deserves a home where he can continue to shine, and the right home will be very important to me.

Foaling season is here, and with our beautiful mares getting closer, I’m thinking it might be time to go LIVE again when one of our babies decides to make their grand entrance! 🥰🐴

There’s something pretty special about watching a new little life enter the world — especially when we can share the excitement with you all in real time. ❤️

Of course, foals have absolutely no respect for convenient hours 😂 so it could be midnight, 2am or just as the sun comes up!

Just look at that little one moving around in there! 😍 There’s something so special about seeing those movements and knowing we’re getting closer to finally meeting this much-anticipated baby.

Photographers at Horse Events 📸🐴

I’m so grateful for the amazing photographers who come along to our horse shows and capture memories that we can keep forever. Most are incredibly professional, talented and do a wonderful job.

But I’d like to ask — what do people consider professional when they are the official photographer at a show?

I attended a show where my horse did very well. Photos were taken in our first class, but after that, despite competing in several more classes, no further photos were taken of my horse. Other horses competing alongside us were photographed, and even when we were standing in the Champion line-up, the other horses were photographed while mine was not.

Personally, I find that disappointing and unprofessional.

If you take on the role of an official show photographer, I believe every competitor should be given the same opportunity to have their horse photographed, regardless of friendships, personal opinions or history with an exhibitor.

The same goes for the number of photos taken. Of course, some horses will naturally have more good shots than others, but when there are countless photos of friends’ horses and very few — or none — of other competitors, people notice.

A show photographer is there to capture the event as a whole — the competitors, the winners, the special moments and the memories — without obvious bias or favouritism.

Photography is such an important part of our industry, and good photographers deserve enormous appreciation for the time and effort they put in. ❤️

What are your thoughts? Should an official show photographer make every reasonable effort to photograph all competitors equally and without bias?
