🌾 “They're tiny… but they can cause BIG problems!”

Think grass seeds are harmless? Think again! 👀

Certain pointed or barbed grass seeds can catch in your pet's coat and sometimes pe*****te their skin.

The tricky part? You might not notice anything straight away.

🐕 Check your furry friend after spending time around dry or overgrown grass.

🚨🐶 PET OWNERS, THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!

Did you know that some grass seeds can cause serious problems for our furry friends?

Those tiny seeds hiding in dry grass can get caught in fur, paws and ears and some can even work their way under the skin.

Over the next two weeks, we're talking ALL things grass seeds and your pets! 🌾

Because keeping your lawn looking good is one thing… keeping your pets safe is another. 💚

👇 **Have you ever checked your dog's paws after a walk?**

🐾💗 Happy Vet Nurse Day! 💗🐾

Today we celebrate our incredible veterinary nursing team and all the amazing things they do, not just for our patients, but for their families and the entire clinic.

From comforting nervous pets and providing endless cuddles, to assisting with surgeries, monitoring anaesthetics, caring for our hospital patients, and supporting worried owners . Our vet nurses are there through it all. 🩺🐶🐱

Being a vet nurse takes so much more than skill and knowledge. It takes compassion, patience, resilience, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. ❤️

To our wonderful team, thank you for the long days, the sleepless nights, the happy reunions, the little victories, and for continuing to show up with love and care, even on the toughest days. What you do matters more than you know, and we are so lucky to have you. 💕

Today is all about celebrating YOU and the difference you make in the lives of so many animals and their humans.

✨ Happy Vet Nurse Day to our amazing team — you are the heart of our clinic! ✨

💖 What 'slowing down' actually means and what it doesnt.
Most owners of older dogs describe the same thing: 'Shes slowing down. Its old age. Thats normal, right?"
Sometimes,yes. Sometimes, no.

Here is the difference:
Normal ageing: looks like gradually needing more rest, slightly shorter walks, sleeping deeper, moving at a more considered pace.'

A Condition we can treat: looks like sudden change in behaviour, eating or drinking differently, weight loss or gain, stiffness thats worse in the mornings, struggling to get up or lie down, changes in eye clarity, incontinence, confusion.

That second list? Almost everything on it has a diagnosis and a treatment that can help improve your senior pets qualitly of life!
The hardest part of caring for a senior pet is knowing the difference. Thats exactly what we're here for.

🐾 Is your pet itchy?
Scratching, licking and irritated skin can be signs that your pet’s skin needs some extra support. 🌿

At our clinic, we can help you find the right approach for your pet, including options to naturally support healthy skin and coat:

🌿 H**p Oil: a nutritional source of fatty acids to support skin and coat health.

💧 Essential 6: topical skin and coat support to help hydrate the skin and support the skin barrier.

🥣 Hill’s Prescription Diet Derm Complete : veterinary nutrition formulated to support dogs with food and environmental sensitivities.

Every itchy pet is different, so the right plan starts with understanding what’s causing the itch. 🐶🐱

📅 Book a skin check with your vet and let’s get your pet feeling more comfortable this spring!
