We look after the interests of all Dressage Riders, Officials and Clubs in WA, providing information and guidance on the sport of Dressage in Western Australia as overseen by Equestrian Western Australia. Our website hosts an abundance of collective information including dressage tests, rules, competitors i

nformation, workshops, competitions, results, judges resources and seminars etc. Our dedicated team have started a new Newsletter this year, designed by riders for the riders to help keep everyone better informed of what is happening in WA.

✨ NEW FOR 2026 — UNITED IN THE ARENA ✨

We’re excited to introduce United in the Arena – Rider Partnerships at the 2026 Shelford Quality Homes WA State Dressage Championships! 💙🧡

This new initiative brings our community together by pairing one able-bodied rider with one Para or Virtus rider to compete as a partnership team across the Championships.

🐴 Ride your usual classes
🤝 Meet and support your partner
🏆 Combine your chosen scores
🎉 Compete for the United in the Arena Award and some fabulous prizes!

Para & Virtus riders: Nominate with Lesley Smit before Monday 7 September.

Able-bodied riders: Head to the lawn at the SEC on Friday between 10:00–11:00am and draw your partner’s name from the hat!
