Looking for a temporary stable hand for a showjumping stable in Wanneroo, WA. 15 horses on property. Our main stable hand is out for a month or so due to an injury. Hours 7am-12pm and 4pm-6pm Mon-Fri. General stable duties and tacking up horses. Must have experience with horses. Message me for more details.

Looking for a stable hand to work weekends. Hours are 7am-11am and 4pm-6pm. Saturday and Sunday preferably but pretty flexible. Currently around 14 horses on the property. Jobs include feeding horses, taking horses to and from paddocks, mucking out stables and rugging. Possibility to ride and have lessons on our horses depending on riding capability. 

Applicant must be reliable and have basic horse skills.

For sale- Tulara Corango

Fraser is a 11yo (2009) 17hh Dapple Grey Gelding by Cornet Obolensky/Contango II.

Fraser is honest, careful and a straightforward and genuine ride. He has been completed by a teenage girl since he was a 6 year old and taken her from jumping 115cm to jumping 135cm confidently. He has also been ridden at a couple of shows to 145cm level with a male rider.

Fraser is one of the easiest and nicest horses to have around. He has always been the stable favourite.

Dobson Equestrian is looking for a groom to start as soon as possible. Job can be 3-6 days a week depending on suitability. Hours are 7am-1pm and 4pm-6pm. We currently have about 21 horses on the property. Duties include feeding, mucking out, taking horses to/from paddocks and general yard duties. Great work environment with lots of friendly people around. Accommodate available in a 1 bedroom self contained apartment. Also option to bring your own horse available.

Applicant’s must be willing to learn and have a can do attitude, be able to work most weekends and if not living on the property must have their driver’s license.

We could not be happier with the way all 3 of our horses jumped at the WA State Championships! Dobson Equestrian Gatsby had his first show with Annabel Cowcher in the saddle and didn’t touch a rail all weekend. Finishing the show with 2nd in the prestigious Gaynor McInnes memorial class.

Belle and her two horses Tulara Corango and Tinkas Bay placed in every class they enter and jumped the only 2 double clear rounds (plus some time faults in the jump off 🙈) in the State Junior Championships to finish 1st and 4th!

Would like to say a massive congratulations to both David’s students Caitlin Bolger and Chloe Versteegen for winning the State Senior and Young Rider titles.
