Mental health matters. For our team. For our clients.

Veterinary care can come with emotional and challenging moments. Our teams support pets and their families through life’s highs and lows, and we know it can be an emotional experience for clients too.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re recognising the importance of looking after the people behind the pets.

It’s okay to have difficult days, ask for support and take a moment to look after yourself 🐾

HAPPY VETERINARY NURSE DAY! 🐾💙

Today we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary nurses who are the heart of our clinic.

From comforting nervous patients and caring for hospitalised pets, to assisting with surgery, supporting our vets and reassuring pet parents - our nurses do so much, often behind the scenes 🩺

Being a vet nurse takes compassion, patience, resilience and an enormous amount of heart ❤️

To all our wonderful veterinary nurses, thank you for the care, dedication and love you give to every patient, every day. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐶🐱🐾

🦸‍♀️HAPPY VET NURSES DAY! 🦸‍♀️
🚨 ATTENTION: OUR SUPERHEROES ARE IN THE BUILDING! 🚨
Today we’re celebrating Robyn, Jacinda, Bailey, Lou and Evelina who are quite simply the heart, soul and SUPERPOWER of GoVets! 💚🐾
They may not wear capes… but honestly, they should. 🦸‍♀️✨
📞 Emergency hotline heroes — answering the phone when you’re worried, panicked or Googling things you probably shouldn’t! 😂
💉 Medical masterminds — helping our vets keep your furry family members safe, comfortable and cared for.
🌟 Always being one step ahead of the vets!
😴 Wake-up guardians — the first friendly face your pet sees when they wake up from an anaesthetic, ready with gentle voices, cuddles and reassurance. 🥹💕
🧸 Professional cuddle specialists — because sometimes the most important medicine is a cuddle (and maybe a sneaky treat!). 🐶🐱
💪 All-round legends — juggling phones, patients, clients, medications, emergencies, surgery, anaesthetics, cleaning, xrays, chaos, vets and approximately 847 other things… often ALL AT ONCE!
Our vet nurses are the calm in the chaos, the voice on the other end of the phone, the comforting hand, the quick thinker and the unwavering advocate for every patient who walks through our doors.
🌟 No cape required. Just an enormous amount of skill, brain power, compassion, and love for animals. 🩷🐾

So today, Dr Claudia, Dr Robyn and Dr James are giving our amazing GoVets vet nurses the biggest THANK YOU! 💚👏🫶

Happy Vet Nurses Day to our very own SUPERHERO SQUAD! 💚🦸‍♀️🐶🐱
