🌈 In loving memory of beautiful little Sox 🌈
Tragically, little Sox has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, leaving her beautiful little family absolutely heartbroken. 💔🐾
Named Sox because of the adorable little white "socks" she wore as a youngster… although somewhere along the way those socks seemed to spread, and before we knew it, you had become almost completely white all over! I guess you could say you eventually just grew into your socks. 😂🤍
Sox came into a family consisting of her Mum, Julie Anne, Nanna Shirl, and big human brother Luke, who was just a kid himself when you arrived. You and Luke grew up together and became the very best of friends. He absolutely adored you, and you were lucky enough to have your own little boy by your side throughout your life. ❤️
You were the sweetest natured little girl… but OMG, what a little stress head you could be! 😂 Despite Julie Anne's no-nonsense style of pet parenting, the moment Mum left you with me for grooming, the shaking and drama would commence. And I'm not talking a little nervous tremble either — you could have won an Academy Award for your performance!
Thankfully, you were always a very good girl to groom, although I often felt like I was trying to groom a moving target vibrating on full speed. You simply couldn't help yourself… shake, shake, shake for the entire appointment! 🤣
And then there was that adorable little face of yours. That comical smile and underbite were something truly special — honestly, an orthodontist's dream! 😂❤️
Your Mum would regularly message me photos when you were due for a groom, describing you as "the littlest hobo"… but personally, I thought you absolutely rocked the ragamuffin look! 🥰
Of course, we can't forget Nanna Shirl, who fancied herself as your backup groomer! You were incredibly patient with her efforts and, to be perfectly honest, there were a few occasions when I thought I might be out of a job! 😂✂️🐶
I felt incredibly privileged to be your groomer for your entire life — well, apart from Nanna Shirl's occasional attempts, of course! 😉
Little Sox, you brought so much unconditional love, joy and happiness into the lives of Julie Anne, Shirl and Luke. And although you were in your twilight years, nothing could have prepared them for the heartbreak of losing you so suddenly.
You may have been a little dog with an adorable underbite, a tendency to shake like a washing machine on spin cycle, and socks that eventually took over your entire body… but you were loved beyond measure. ❤️
Run free now beautiful girl. No more grooming appointments, no more shaking, and hopefully somewhere over that Rainbow Bridge you've found yourself the biggest collection of fabulous substitute "socks" imaginable. 🌈🐾🤍
Rest peacefully, beautiful Sox. We will all miss you so much ❤️
