Big brother, little sister... and one BIG friendship! 🥹❤️🐾

Pepper and Sasha are back, and we just can't get enough of these two gorgeous siblings!

If you've seen our previous post about these two, you'll know that we absolutely LOVE when we have families come to stay with us who have a big dog and a little dog.

And these two are the perfect example of why! 🥰

Pepper might be the **big brother**, but that certainly doesn't stop little Sasha from keeping up with him! 😂🐶

Whether they're out enjoying playtime, exploring together, or simply hanging out side by side, these two are happiest when they're together.

There's something so special about watching siblings who are completely different sizes but have such a beautiful bond. ❤️

And honestly... who can blame him?

Sometimes you just need to stretch those legs, enjoy a little bit of exercise, have a sniff around, and then find yourself the perfect spot to sit down and think...

**"Yep. That's enough activity for today."** 😂

At 15, we think a little run around is more than fair, and we're just so happy to see this gorgeous boy enjoying himself and making the most of his time with us. 🥰🐾

There's no need to be in a rush when you're a wise old gentleman like Lars.

You take your time, handsome boy.

Run when you feel like running.

Rest when you feel like resting.

And soak up every single cuddle along the way. ❤️

We absolutely adore you, Lars, and we're pretty sure you've got the whole "take life at your own pace" thing completely figured out. 🐶💕

This girl LOVES her ball.

We're talking true friendship.

The kind where you never want to be more than a few centimetres away from your bestie.

The kind where you stare at it lovingly.

The kind where you spend your entire day thinking about it.

And the kind where, if someone dares to throw it...

YOU RUN LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT! 🤣🐾

Honestly, we're not sure what Luna would do without her beloved ball.

Look at Mr Pickles absolutely LOVING life out in the exercise field! 🐶🌿❤️

If you’ve seen our last post about this cheeky little man, you’ll know that Mr Pickles can be quite the character when he’s hanging out in his room. 😂

But the moment he gets out into the exercise field…

He’s a completely different dog! 🐾🥰

During his last stay with us, Pickles made the absolute most of his time outside. There were happy zoomies, lots of sniffing and exploring, and plenty of time to enjoy being out in the fresh air.

It’s so lovely seeing him switch off, relax, and just enjoy himself.

Although we’re pretty sure he was still saving some of that cheeky energy for when he got back to his room! 🤣

We always love having this handsome little man come to stay, and we’re already looking forward to his next visit through our gates.

Well, here you have it...

The message is loud and clear...

🎾 **"Throw the ball!"**

Cleo doesn't need to bark.

She doesn't need to ask.

She doesn't even need to move.

She simply looks at Liv with those eyes and sends the message straight into her brain. 😂👀🧠

And Liv, being the amazing kennel superstar that she is, clearly understands her instructions perfectly.

That is one seriously impressive smile, and we're pretty sure Hank knows exactly how adorable he is.

Every time he flashes those pearly whites at us, we can't help but smile right back! 🥹🐾

There is just something about a happy dog with a big, goofy grin that instantly makes your day better.

And Hank?

Well, he's basically a walking, wagging, four-legged ray of sunshine! ☀️🐶❤️

If you've been following us for a while, you'll probably already know our very big, very silly, and very lovable boy... **Harley!** 🐶❤️

Harley has been staying with us as a long-term boarder, and when he first came to us, he was a little nervous and unsure of his new surroundings.

But oh my goodness...

Look at him now. 🥹❤️

Harley has come **SUCH A LONG WAY!**

He is calmer.

He is more settled.

He is more confident.

He is so much friendlier.

And he is just an all-around VERY good boy. 🥰🐾

There was a time when Harley would loudly bark at strangers who came into the retreat to view the kennels. He wasn't trying to be naughty—he was just unsure and didn't quite know what to make of new people coming into his space.

But with time, patience, consistency, and plenty of love, we've watched this gorgeous boy grow in confidence and learn that he doesn't need to worry.

Now look at him! ❤️

This big silly boy has become such a beautiful part of our retreat family, and we couldn't be prouder of the progress he's made.

It just goes to show that sometimes, all a dog needs is a little time, a safe space, and people willing to meet them where they're at. 🥹🐾

Harley, you are doing SO well, big boy.

And honestly, we can't blame her.

**DODGIE IS BACK!** 🦜❤️🎉

If you've been following us for a while, you'll already know that Dodgie is one of our regular feathered guests...

But he's not just any regular.

Oh no.

Dodgie is a very important member of our bird room team. 😂

He is famous around here for helping us serve up breakfast, and he takes his job VERY seriously.

Although... we're not entirely sure where the line between **"helping with breakfast"** and **"stealing the breakfast"** is. 🤔🤣

Here he is, helping himself to some grapes.

Or, as Dodgie would put it...

**"Earning them."** 🍇😂

Because in Dodgie's mind, he absolutely works here.

He has a job.

He has responsibilities.

He has employee benefits.

And apparently, those benefits include unlimited access to the breakfast buffet. 🤣🦜

We're not entirely sure what his official job title is, but we're thinking **Head of Fruit Quality Control** sounds about right.

Big, silly, and absolutely LOVING life! 😂🐶❤️

Meet Arlo!

This gorgeous boy is one big bundle of fun, and when it comes to playtime, he is **ALL IN!** 🐾

Whether he's running around, exploring, chasing, sniffing, or just generally being a big silly, Arlo is always ready for a good time. 😂

There's something so special about watching a dog completely let loose and enjoy themselves, and Arlo certainly knows how to make the most of every second!

That big happy face, those wagging tails, and all that playful energy...
