Update from the island 🏝️

Good news: the tribe's agreed to help our castaways find their way home.

Bad news: apparently that means "living like the tribe" first, and their idea of training is a lot more literal than ours.

Food's being hidden in spots that make no sense to a dog raised on a proper feeding schedule. The ground won't stay flat. And the "easy path” through the jungle turned out to have more logs than an actual forest.

Our lot are getting stuck in anyway. Slowly. Suspiciously. But they're doing it 😂

Update from the island 🏝️

Good news: the tribe’s agreed to help our castaways find their way home.

Island update 🏝️

The pack's a few days into island life now, and they're adapting fast.

Turns out survival out here starts with a good nose. Our cadets have been working the shoreline all week, sniffing out whatever washed up alongside them (spoiler: not everything's a winner).

They've also had their first proper look at the jungle itself, and let's just say some handled it better than others. A few marched straight through without a second thought. A few needed a bit more convincing!!

Whatever's happening out there, the pack's sticking together!

Why Dogs Do That: The Chewing (covers the Physical Environment + Intellectual pillars)

Come home to a chewed slipper? Your dog isn’t being naughty. They’re bored! 🐾

Chewing is a natural, self soothing behaviour. When dogs don’t have an outlet for it, they’ll find their own… usually your favourite shoes! 👡🥿

The fix isn’t less freedom, it’s more enrichment! A stuffed Kong, a chew toy, or a licki mat gives that urge somewhere to go.

A dog with a job to do doesn’t go looking for one 💜
