🐾 A little look at what we’ve been up to at SandiPaws! 🐾
I’ll admit, I’m not the best at keeping on top of my socials 😂 I’d much rather be out and about spending time with all the precious animals I get to meet… but I do try! 💜🧡
And it’s definitely never boring around here!
🐶 Omen has been enjoying some time at the park, looking very handsome while he’s at it… even if he did end up in trouble for emptying the bin 🙈 Apparently park privileges don’t automatically mean you’re a good boy!
🐱 Peanut has decided that my son and SandiPaws assistant, Noah, makes the perfect climbing frame/seat. Peanut LOVES a good shoulder snuggle — and naturally, I was completely ignored. Thanks Peanut I’m totally feeling the love😂
🐾 Then we have Cookie & Billie, having a very chilled first evening together.
Billie was a very last-minute booking today after her arranged sitter unfortunately had to cancel. Her family suddenly needed someone to step in, and I was happy to help make sure she was still safe and cared for ❤️
Because everything happened so quickly, there wasn’t time to do our usual dog introduction beforehand. So rather than throwing everyone together and hoping for the best, we’re taking things slowly.
Cookie and Billie seem quite happy with each other already 🥰 Meanwhile, Gizmo is currently living his best life in the dog room in his own little zone, blissfully unaware that tomorrow he has a meet-and-greet appointment 😂
Tomorrow we’ll do a proper introduction between Billie and Gizmo and take it at their pace.
No matter how friendly a dog normally is, introductions are important. Just like people, sometimes two animals simply don’t click — especially when a new dog is coming into another animal’s home and territory.
It’s one of the things I love about SandiPaws. No two days — or animals — are ever the same.
Dogs, cats, walks, visits, adventures, shoulder-riding cats, naughty bin raiders and the occasional last-minute bit of problem solving… 🐕🐈⬛🐾
Wouldn’t have it any other way 💜🧡
