Hi Musky Paws crew 👋🏻

I hope you're all doing well. I just wanted to share a little gold nugget of knowledge with you.
Over the last three weeks, I've noticed that every single pup coming through my doors has been shedding like crazy.
Now for this time of year (middle of winter) it seems like there's a serious problem. Or is there 🤔
So I decided to go through the last 75 years of recorded weather patterns. I extrapolated the data via a spreadsheet and.... just kidding 😂
I asked my friend Google one simple question. Are we due to experience an El Niño or La Niña event. And yes we are!!
El Niño was declared active in mid June this year.
And according to BOM it's the strongest one we've experienced in 150 years of record keeping.
What does this mean? It means that we should pay closer attention to our pets because this years summer is set to be a hot one and our pets bodies have picked up on the temperature anomaly that has already begun and therefore... shedding to get ready.
So don't fret. Your precious pal isn't getting their summer bikini out for no apparent reason.
It's El Niño 😊

You're welcome 😂

Hi Musky Paws family. Just a quick reminder that there aren't any appointments available until late January 2025.

Just in case I don't get back on socials, I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and a safe new year 💜

Hi Musky Paws crew 👋🏻
As you've probably noticed, I'm not on social media much at all anymore.
I just wanted to let you know that everything is fine and I'm still doing my thing here 😉

I hope you're all having a great day!!

Sweep says 'hi' and also wanted you to know that she made it to her 4th birthday. Defying her medical condition everyday and doing it in her goofy style 💜

It's a great short video, by a vet, into why dentastix aren't good for your fur kids 😉

Happy New Year, everyone!! I've been super busy over my two weeks off. I've managed to redirect all of the storm water runoff so that it's not hazardous for you to walk down the pathway to the salon, as it's been bubbling up through the pavers and sinking them quite dangerously.
Please be aware of the stack of pavers that still need to be moved away from behind the gate to your right as you walk in. They shouldn't cause any issues, but rather safe than sorry, right?
My apologies, but I ran out of time to move them as well, as I literally only finished this yesterday 🙄😁

Well, that's me for the year once again!!
With Christmas just around the corner and New Year is not long to follow, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of my clients for entrusting me with their precious fur kids for yet another year. We've shared so many laughs and tears.
So many have crossed the bridge this year, with only knowing me as their groomer, extra cuddle giver, play buddy, and extra kisses giver. I am forever grateful to have known each and every one of these beautiful, unique, and quirky souls.
And to end this year on a high, I now have a new little client who is going to help me in wishing you all a very merry Christmas and safe New Year. Thanks for your help, little Dave Phillip Arnold, the 1st 🎄💜😁
I'll see you all again on the 9th of January, 2024.
