One of the best feelings in the world is helping dogs take their first steps again.
Often, by the time a dog comes to see me for rehab, their journey has already been a long and emotional one. Theyāve seen vets, specialists, explored different options ā and sometimes been told that walking again may not be possible.
And while those conversations come from a place of clinical experience and care, this is where a more conservative, supportive approach can quietly step in.
As therapists, we donāt replace veterinary care ā we work alongside it. But we hold space for possibility. We work with the body, the nervous system, the small wins⦠and sometimes, those small wins turn into something much bigger. š¾š¤
