🐟❤️ HOW AMAZING IS THIS?! OUR DISCUS PAIR ARE BREEDING! ❤️🐟

One of the most fascinating things about keeping Discus is watching them become parents.

Our pair have successfully bred, and watching them care for their fry is absolutely incredible! 🥰

But here’s the really amazing part…

🐣 Discus fry feed directly from their parents!

After hatching, the tiny fry attach themselves to mum and dad and feed on a special nutritious mucus produced by the parents’ skin. The parents take turns caring for the babies, allowing the fry to feed and grow.

It’s basically nature’s version of parent-raised baby food! 🤯🐟

Discus are famous for their incredible parental care, and seeing it happening right in front of us with our own breeding pair is something pretty special.

How cool are fish?! ❤️🐟
