This very handsome boy is a very special visitor to our practice! Kevin was adopted as a tiny puppy with a known congenital heart condition. His wonderful owners have worked with us and specialist vets to give him the best chance of as normal a life as possible. He is now 9 months old and is just the sweetest dog! He also has heterochromia - a cool name for 2 different coloured eyes! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Did you know we help treat the beautiful Greyhounds that are cared for by GAWA (Greyhound Adoption WA)?? This wonderful charity helps foster and rehome surrendered greyhounds and give them such amazing love and care.

They are always in need of foster carers to help, so if you are interested please reach out. Fostering a Greyhound is a very rewarding experience - these dogs have been born into the racing industry and know nothing about the outside world and just how to be a dog! Helping them learn the fun parts of doggy life is great fun and in case you didn’t know, they are literally the laziest dogs and are more like big cats just wanting to snooze most of the day!

Working with this charity is a wonderful part of our job. If fostering is something you may be interested in, check out www.greyhoundadoptionswa.com.au for more info. And if you see one of our lovely greyhounds in the clinic say hi!

Delightful Dilly came in for desexing last week but also had two retained baby teeth.
Puppies start to lose their baby teeth from about 3months of age and they are usually pushed out by the erupting adult tooth. In some case the baby tooth clings on for dear life and just moves to the side rather than leaving the party. This can lead to dental disease so we stepped in and took them out!
They have incredibly long root so gentle extraction is needed to prevent them breaking. Naughty teef!! 🦷 🦷 🐶
