Delightful Dilly came in for desexing last week but also had two retained baby teeth.
Puppies start to lose their baby teeth from about 3months of age and they are usually pushed out by the erupting adult tooth. In some case the baby tooth clings on for dear life and just moves to the side rather than leaving the party. This can lead to dental disease so we stepped in and took them out!
They have incredibly long root so gentle extraction is needed to prevent them breaking. Naughty teef!! 🦷 🦷 🐶

🐾Did you know that 20% of outdoor cats in WA are positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)?
🐾This viral disease is spread by fighting and biting and can have serious health consequences for your cat.
🐾Once infected there is no cure so if your cat enjoys time outside, vaccination against FIV is highly recommended.
🐾Ask us for more information next time you visit us.
