Hi friends I'm Snuggle Pie 💛

I'm a 5 month old cutie patootie (Medium Sized Mixed Breed) and I was found wandering the streets of Moora with my brother who has now found his own home. I'm a sweet and sensitive girl looking for a patient family who will show me what it's like to be in a loving home 🏠

The world can seem a little scary to me, loud noises and sudden movements startle me and I'm still learning that some doggies can be friends too, my family will need to help build my confidence please. Socialisation classes will help me feel more comfortable and teach me how to make friends without being scared. I promise with love and patience I will show you my cuddly, happy and loving self!

In foster care, I loved sharing my home with 2 teenagers and could live with children 10+ in my forever home. This little sweetheart deserves to feel safe and cherished and in return will shower you in cuddles 🥰

We now have 6 whelping mumma dogs in our care!! 💔

And only one of them is currently in foster 😔 All of these girls deserve to be in safe and loving homes where they can have and raise their babies away from the hustle and bustle of kennel life. If you have a pet free home, plenty of love to go around and are home often, please apply to join our foster team now. 🐾
https://www.dogshome.org.au/foster/foster-a-dog/

With more whelping mums on site than ever before, we have run out of whelping boxes. If you have one you no longer need, we would greatly appreciate it if you are able to donate it to us.

We are not currently taking adoption applications for any of these girls or their puppies.

Can art help get dogs adopted? 🎨✍️

When artist Alex Kopp reached out to us eager to create art pieces for our most long term dogs, we were absolutely thrilled! Having adopted her beloved dog Lexie from the Refuge, when she heard that we were absolutely overflowing with dogs, she knew she had to do something to bring more attention to those special pooches who had been waiting that little bit longer to find their forever homes. 🥹

And we think these pieces are so incredible! They truly capture Dexter, Cali and Sax in their very best light. 🐶

While these three are happily living it up in their foster homes, we would love to see them finally be adopted. Plus, whoever adopts these lovely dogs will receive their original artwork to proudly display in their home. 💙

💙 SPECIAL HOME NEEDED FOR A SPECIAL GIRL 💙

Elsa is a big, beautiful nearly 6 year old, 51kg Great Dane girl who has just recently come into our care from the pound system. The sad and certainly not uncommon result of two parents with the merle gene being bred together, Elsa has inherited the double merle gene, leading to significant hearing and vision impairments. 😔

Despite her limitations, Elsa is a very happy and friendly girl who is just eager to be around her people as well as her doggy friends. She loves to get out and about to stretch those long legs of hers and take in all the scents and will benefit from lots of enrichment to keep her mind busy 🐕

Elsa would love a calm, quiet home with a family who will allow her all the time she needs to adjust to her new surroundings. Adopters who are familiar with dogs with hearing and/or vision impairments would be a big bonus too! 🥹

Can you offer Elsa the special home she deserves? Check out her profile below and submit an adoption questionnaire now 🐾

🐾🍺💛 FOUND HOUNDS 💛🍺🐾

Over the course of this year, you may have seen us out and about at various hospitality venues around Perth and that's thanks to our partnership with our friends over at FOUND. B**R and the wonderful venues that have gotten involved in their Found Hounds program!

Each of these venues dedicate a month to fundraising for us, during which $1 from every FOUND. b**r sold is donated directly to our dogs! 🤩 This initiative has raised over $5000 in the time that it has been running, providing us with much needed funds to continue the very important work we do.

We absolutely love the opportunity to get out into the community, say thank you to the venues, see all the amazing people who have been supporting us and of course, dish out a whole lot of puppy cuddles! 🤗🐶

Thank you SO much to FOUND. for their ongoing support of the Refuge and to all of the venues who have gotten involved and helped make a difference in the lives of rescue dogs 💙

Are these two not the cutest, happiest pair you've ever seen?? 😍😍

Chocolate boy Moore and his doggy wife Tilley may not have had the easiest start to their lives but they're taking everything in their stride and with a family who can take things at their pace, help them to build up their confidence and show them all the wonderful things life has to offer them, we know these two will make the best companions ever 🤩

When it comes to dog friends, Moore is a bit more reserved than social butterfly Tilly, preferring his personal space but they're both happy to have walking pals to share their adventures with 🐕

If you're looking for a totally awesome pair to fill your home with a whole lot of love, come visit them at the Refuge! 💙

Brad's face when we told him no one had applied to adopt him yet 😆

And honestly Brad, we can't believe it either! This three year old lover boy is perfect in every way - he's gentle, calm, affectionate, has beautiful manners and is friendly with both people and dogs! 🐶

Brad could live with kids and maybe even a doggy sibling in his new home, but lots of affection is a non negotiable - this boy LOVES cuddles 🥰

Read more about Brad on his profile or come and meet him today from 11am 🐾
