When I was a kid I loved looking at a series of art books my parents had; the books had paintings from all over the world and periods, and I used to spend hours contemplating them. So I wanted to become a painter myself but even then I knew I was aiming to the wrong path since my drawing skills were and still are dreadful. 😂
Years after, a good friend of mine was taking a Photography class at Uni and asked me to help her develop some photos in the darkroom (yes, my friends, ancient times!😆). I completely fell in love with the process, I loved the quietness, the pace and the magic of developing. So, I started taking photos on my own, I used to go for walks looking for ‘beauty’ to photograph… I also liked to ‘stage’ moments, it was all very creative and fun. Eventually, I ended up studying photography and I haven’t stopped doing it ever since. Nine years ago, I commenced doing Pet Photography, best decision ever! Working with animals is just so much fun! Especially when I get the chance to create artistic images like this one. Photography is an excellent tool for art creation! Don’t you think? 😉
