What a special day we had on Sunday at Woof at Whiteman Park! 🐾✨

Not only did we get to spend the day meeting so many amazing people and pups, but it also happened to be Ada and Aari’s 2nd birthday! 🎉

The two ambassador dingoes soaked up all the attention, helped us educate the public about dingoes, and represented the dingoes beautifully all day long (with the odd nap here and there). We had countless wonderful conversations, answered so many questions and loved seeing people walk away with a new understanding and appreciation for dingoes.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was seeing one of our adopted dingoes, Red, come by for a visit and spend the day with us, along with Boo, one of our current foster dingoes, who attended with his foster parents. Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. 💛

To everyone who stopped by to chat, support us, meet the dingoes or simply say hello, thank you. Community events like these mean the world to us and help continue important conversations around rescue, education and conservation.

A huge happy 2nd birthday again to Ada, Aari and their siblings along with all dingoes as we come into birthday season!

🐾 we couldn’t imagine better ambassadors for dingoes. 🐺✨

Two years ago this weekend, a very special litter entered the world (and all of our lives a mere 13 weeks after) Ada, Aari and their siblings. 💛

From tiny fluff balls with oversized ears and endless curiosity, to the confident, intelligent and charismatic dingoes they are today, it’s been incredible watching them grow into ambassadors not only for Perth Dingo Rescue, but for dingoes as a whole.

This weekend we got to visit Ada and Aari at , where they’re currently on loan through until December 2026 as part of their ambassador journey. Seeing them thrive, connect with people and continue helping educate the public about dingoes makes us unbelievably proud.

And what better way to spend their birthday than doing what they do best 🐾 meeting the community! 🎉 We visited today with some birthday goodies all thanks to
Ada and Aari will be joining us tomorrow at Woof at Whiteman Park, where you’ll be able to meet them in person and celebrate their 2nd birthday with us.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Ada, Aari and all of their siblings🫶🏻 thank you for helping us change perceptions, spark conversations and remind people just how special dingoes truly are. 🐾✨

Last weekend’s little down south adventure 🐾🌾
One night away of volunteer organised and funded fun, filled with meeting locals, ticking off appointments, catching up with friends and, of course, a few dingo antics along the way 🤎 Kenny and Sheila stole our hearts as always 💕 Much love to our friends .theanimals

To our incredible supporters, it’s Lara here, Founder of Perth Dingo Rescue.

I truly wish I didn’t have to make this post, but right now we urgently need your help.

Perth Dingo Rescue is facing one of our toughest periods yet.

We currently have around 15 dingoes in care, ongoing veterinary expenses, transport costs, emergency rescue needs, and our Dingo Guardian Assistance Program (D-GAP) continuing to support guardians experiencing hardship.

At the moment, our funds are running dangerously low.

We receive absolutely no government funding. Every rescue, every vet bill, every transport run, every rehabilitation case is funded entirely by the public and managed by volunteers who dedicate their lives to these animals while balancing work, study, and being on call 24/7.

I’m hoping at least 12 of you can kickstart our urgent fundraising appeal to clear our bills by clicking here now: https://perth-dingo-rescue.mygiveeasy.com/this-is-our-urgent-time-of-need/donatenow

Our team doesn’t do this because it’s easy.

We do it because these dingoes deserve someone willing to fight for them.

We’ve seen the worst of what humans can do.
The neglected.
The abused.
The forgotten.
The ones nobody else wanted to save.

From Yindi, a tiny warrior who arrived skin and bone with severe injuries to Reign and her litter, and the countless dingoes and respective guardians navigating a challenging time going through our D-GAP support program… every single dingo who comes through our rescue has a story.

And then there are dingoes like Ada and Aari and now Jaspy, our ambassador dingoes; helping us educate the public and shine a light on the reality these incredible animals face every day.

Right now, we urgently need to raise $15,000 at a minimum to ensure we can continue responding to emergency cases, cover critical veterinary care, support our D-GAP families, and prepare for incoming rescues and puppy season.

Every dollar raised goes directly back into rescue operations and the care of the dingoes.

If just a fraction of our followers donated even $5, we could make an enormous difference tonight. One coffee to you could mean food, transport, medication, or lifesaving treatment for a dingo in need.

Please comment “DONE” below once you’ve donated so we can personally thank you, and share this post far and wide. The more people who see this, the more lives we can save.

This is our SOS.
For the dingoes.
For the rescues still waiting for help.
For the ones who have nobody else.

Much Love, Lara ###

Considering everything we try gets destroyed by the dingoes - especially this terror - the double L+ variocage has been a game changer, not only for our resident dingoes but for our transport operations, as you can see- they’ve tried to kill it - and it’s UNKILLABLE! and they stay safe! Game changer ✨ if you don’t have one - get your hands on one! You won’t regret it!

Dingo Puppy Season

As we enter the dingo puppy season, it’s important to remember that these adorable little ones are typically born during the winter months, from June to the end of August. This time of year, you might spot tiny dingo pups wandering around in the bush.

Many people mistakenly think dingo pups are dumped pets, but it’s crucial to leave them be. It’s not unusual for dingo pups to be left unattended while their parents are out hunting, or the parents may be very close by, watching you without you even realising it. “Please leave the pups alone.”

‼️Do not‼️ take pups from the wild unless you’ve monitored the area for their parents or other family members. If you suspect that the parent dingoes have been shot or poisoned by 1080 and the pups are orphaned, it’s especially important to seek help. The area can be monitored using sand traps or camera traps to confirm the presence of any adult dingoes. Even if the parents are gone, there may still be family group members around who can care for them.

Always seek advice before removing pups from their natural habitat. You can reach out to these organisations via Messenger for guidance:

🔺NSW: Highlands Dingo Rescue Ltd
🔺VIC: Australian Dingo Foundation
🔺WA: Perth Dingo Rescue Ltd.

Remember, these pups are “not dumped pets” they are dingo pups who play a vital role in our ecosystem and are essential for the future of dingoes. Let’s protect them! 🐾💜

Let them be wild.

Today we had our PDR AGM for 2026! This year will be a big big year for us - here’s to further strengthening our networks, partnerships and community. Massive thank you to Felecia and Highlands Dingo Rescue Ltd for joining us today and to all our special guests that were invited to be apart of our journey. In true PDR fashion - at the end of the meeting we went and visited Wolf - a 3 yr old male alpine that is in the PDR network currently with some of our magnificent guardians that have stepped up to help us 🫶🏻💕 team work makes the dream work

📢 Important Notice – Lara on Leave

From 4 March 2026 to 20 march 2026, Lara will be on leave and will not be contactable for rescue-related enquiries, including via her mobile (ending in 809).

This time away is to reset, recharge and return ready to continue advocating fiercely for our dingoes. 🧡🐾

During this period:

📩 All enquiries must be directed via:
• Facebook Messenger
• Instagram DM
• Scheduled appointment (as per current protocol)

Please note — our existing communication processes remain in place.

🤝 Leadership Support While Lara Is Away

Our incredible team will be stepping up:

• Jerry – Operations Manager
• Jess – Events Coordinator

They will be sharing the workload and ensuring continuity across rescue operations, events and case management.

🐺 Rescue Operations During This Time

• We will not be taking on new intakes unless absolutely necessary and within our capacity.
• Our focus will be on finalising existing cases.

Thank you for standing with Perth Dingo Rescue.
The wild hearts still beat strong. 🐾🌿

Much love 🫶🏻
