A beautiful Standardbred all rounder!🌟
This sweet boy is looking for his forever home after racing. He has had a 7 month spell and has been started under saddle with me these past 2 weeks and has come leaps and bounds!
He knows his name and comes up to the gate when you call him!
He LOVES carrots 🥕

He loves being pampered great to cuddle,wash,trim,catch,float 💗

Shows great potential to be a nice all rounder, pony club, dressage, jumping

He trots nicely, his canter is coming along! Will only get better with more time.

Although Oden is quiet he is not for beginners as he is still green in the saddle.

Forever Home is most important for this boy 🏡💕

RACEHORSES-OTT🐎

Racehorses sometimes can get a bad rep for being (crazy) OTT🤯 (mind blowing I know)

3 points that I’ve found retraining OTT TBs & STBs

1. They’re not crazy at all. They are a highly trained ATHLETE with a specific job they’ve known from a young age. It’s NOT bad behaviour💪🏼

2. PATIENCE. Most are just babies when retired, doing a one and only job. It’s all they know.
They are Re-Learning EVERYTHING be patient🖐🏼🙏🏼

3.TBs & STBs learn so fast. When they trust you they’ll give you everything! 🤍🩷
