If you know who this "breeder" is please let us or anyone know.
This is the heartbreaking result of a merle x merle breeding.
Breeding two merle dogs together can put puppies at serious risk of severe congenital problems, including blindness, deafness, and other health issues caused by the double merle gene. These risks are well known, and responsible breeders should understand the genetics before planning a litter.
Yet here we are!!! Innocent puppies suffering because someone chose to breed without doing the necessary research or prioritising the welfare of the dogs involved.
Sadly, even seeing the consequences may not stop some people who are more focused on making money than protecting animals.
To abandon vulnerable puppies in a park, in freezing cold and rain, is beyond cruel. These babies deserved warmth, safety, and a chance at a healthy life.
Please research before supporting any breeder. Ask questions, check health testing, and never support breeding practices that put animals at unnecessary risk.
Puppies dumped in park are now Sam’s babies
Someone dropped these 4 puppies in park 5 dats ago in Canning Vale area. A kind woman brought them to us. It didn’t take a minute for our Practice Manager (Samantha Norwood) to decide to take them home. Canning Vale Vet supported Sam by providing all future care for these puppies till they go to new homes. Unfortunately, these puppies got congenital eye defects and may stay blind for rest of the life.
We proud on your kindness Sam. It was a big decision to take these 4 puppies to your house and looking after them. Sorry they all got diarrhoea all over your beautiful floor😂.
Canning Vale Vet has decided to provide free veterinary care and food to these puppies while mama Sam cleans the p**p in her house everyday and give cuddles to these cuties.
