A small Percy update for you all (don’t mind the photos, he’s just flying through time and space 😂):

He had his surgery today and it was a great success! They didn’t find anything remarkable which is always good in clinical terms. With his teeth removed the inflammation from the stomatitis gingivitis should start to subside (in conjunction with medication).

The bad news is that the stomatitis continues down his throat and is quite severe. We have him on a compounded medication that has a high success rate, so we’re hoping that will start to work more effectively soon.

The vet expenses from the surgery today and the compounded medication have all added up, so we’re still asking for contributions to Percy’s GoFundMe! We also have a payID for those wanting to donate independently 😊 Thank you so much for caring about Percy everyone ❤️

Lovely followers, we have 3 black kittens who will be looking for their forever homes in about 3 weeks and we’re asking for your help naming them! Throw your suggestions at us - the more creative the better! All 3 are boys but we do love a gender neutral name over here ☺️

Their gorgeous tabby mum also still needs a name.

‼️ URGENT FOSTER CARER NEEDED ‼️

Sweet Elroy needs a new foster carer ASAP as he’s being bullied in his current foster home, and the foster carer’s own cats aren’t coping with his presence 😞

Elroy is still quite skittish and needs some forced socialisation (this just means making him cuddle and spend time with you 😂), but he’s extremely sweet, loves to hang out with you on his terms, loves other cats, and loves children.

He’s very close to being adoptable, he just needs a little more time with someone patient who can show him how to be brave and confident. Please let us know if you can foster him as he needs to be moved very soon!

According to his foster carer, Quincy is a great and very brave cat! At first he was very shy and took around two weeks to settle in, but during that time he put a lot of effort into opening his heart to his new foster family.

He loves butt scratches and eating; he is also very curious as you would expect from a young cat but he behaves really well, and is remarkably relaxed most of the time! Of course, he's still young and loves a good game, and little by little he shows more of his incredible sweet and cheeky personality ☺️

He still gets nervous easily and takes a bit of patience, but once you learn to observe you will notice how he tries to push himself again and again to be around humans and new spaces. We know with a little more time Quincy will be a wonderful, life-long companion for the right family.

Today’s trapping endeavours were sadly not a huge success, but we did manage to get one spicy girl who we think is the mum of many of the litters we’ve trapped in the past (yay!!) and one young tuxedo who I’m calling Pinstripe 😂 If Spicy Mama is one of the main girls giving birth this will go a long way in our efforts to reduce the numbers at our colony. Stay tuned for our next attempt on Thursday!

Novah has been in foster care for too long and we think it's high time she's adopted! She's a truly lovely cat and we're not sure why she keeps getting overlooked.

She's adventurous and curious when she feels safe. She loves to be close to her humans when you're sitting down relaxing or lying in bed, otherwise she's happy to keep an eye on you around the house or occupy herself. She's rather food-motivated and can be compelled to do anything if a treat is involved 😂

She's always there to greet you at the front door when you arrive home, celebrating your return. She takes a minute to warm up to other cats, but she absolutely adores her foster mum's cats and will cuddle up with them any chance she gets.

She's very easy-going and confident; she would do well in a home with or without cats, older kids, or a dog (with a slow introduction). Really she's the perfect little angel and we can't wait to find her a forever home! If you'd like to meet her for a playdate please contact us 😻
