With an incredibly heavy heart, I am sharing that our dear Ladybelle passed away yesterday at the age of 12. We managed her progressing heart murmur with medication over the last 18 months, but yesterday, it was time to say goodbye.
Looking back on her 12 years, my husband and I are overwhelmed by how much she gave us. Ladybelle was a bridge to an incredible community, bringing us lifelong friends and deep bonds we would never have found without her.
She completely shaped my life's work and passion, giving me focus and direction in positive reinforcement training. Her legacy lives on through the seven wonderful years we spent volunteering together with Nepean Therapy Dogs. She loved her work, and she adored visiting her favourite people.
When we weren't volunteering, she was teaching me to be adventurous—sharing unforgettable moments out on the water kayaking or exploring trails on our bush walks.
Ladybelle, you lived a life full of purpose, adventure, and pure love. We miss you beyond measure. ❤️

Congratulations to our recent graduates from Baby Puppy and Senior Puppy Classes! Excellent students keen to learn about their puppies and how to guide their puppies with kindness and appropriate reinforcement for great results for their future.

Our classes are held at Glenbrook Public School, we have lots of space, a community feel and a relaxed environment to learn.

Our next range of classes begin on Sunday 20 September. We still have some spaces left in the Baby Puppy class for puppies aged 8 - 14 weeks of age and the Good Manners course for teens aged 6 months and upwards.

Congratulations to our June graduates! (Sorry for the delay.)

All of our classes continue to be popular with people travelling from Lithgow, Blue Mountains, Penrith LGA, The Hills District, Campbelltown, Inner West. We are very lucky to have access to fantastic grounds in beautiful Glenbrook. Lots of space, shelter and parking.

Clover is a Cavoodle. She was quite nervous and shaked a great deal. She’s making lovely progress with her confidence and loves training and having fun adventures with her mum. This day we did some training in a new location. We also covered different ways to connect with Clover to encourage positive feelings with the environment and connecting to her mum.

Lovely to see Argo’s training progressing. He’s recently received his ID and Vest to begin his Assistance Dog training.

We’re excited to begin our first client with Assistance Paws Australia organisation.

Congratulations to our recent Good Manners graduates. An amazing range of breeds with different backgrounds. We saw some lovely progression with drive, reducing barking, training calmness and foundation skills.

Look at all of the gorgeous puppies. They’ve all had a great start in life with their families in building good habits from puppyhood.

There’s a trap many people fall in, which is thinking the puppy is easy to manage and everything is ‘fine’. Then the puppy is a teenager and there are no solid foundations and it’s chaos, frustration and now we have a bigger dog and feel lost what to do. Our classes teach you how to work through these phases.
