‼️TICK AWARENESS — MOMO’S STORY 🐾

Little Momo, a much-loved Dachshund, recently spent time in the care of our Nepean Animal hospital after becoming seriously unwell from a paralysis tick.

Momo was very sick and required intensive treatment, including ventilation support. Momo was closely monitored and cared for around the clock by our dedicated veterinary and nursing team.

Thankfully, after receiving lots of care, Momo made an amazing full recovery and was well enough to head home to family, Momo’s family was so pleased with how well Momo is doing now and incredibly thankful to the whole team🥰

🐾 Please be extra vigilant for ticks this season.
Paralysis ticks can cause serious illness and can be life-threatening. Check your pets regularly, use reliable tick prevention, and contact your veterinarian immediately if you notice any signs of tick paralysis or if your pet is unwell.

Momo’s happy ending is a wonderful reminder that early recognition and prompt veterinary treatment can make a huge difference 💙💛

We are open 24/7 ⏰
