Now she is finally recognising her dream of opening her own dog grooming salon and is very excited to show her skills grooming your pooches, to make them the most beautiful fur-babies that ever lived on the peninsula! 🐶🪮 ARE YOU USING THE RIGHT BRUSH FOR YOUR DOG? 👀

You might be brushing your dog every single day… but what if I told you that you could be using the completely WRONG brush?! 😱

One of the biggest things I see as a professional dog groomer is owners putting in so much effort brushing their dogs, only to discover they’re still full of knots, matting or dead undercoat!

And here’s why! 👇

🐾 Not all brushes are suitable for every coat type! What works for a Border Collie won’t necessarily work for a Cavoodle, Groodle, Golden Retriever or Poodle!

🐾 Just because a pet shop sells it doesn’t mean it’s right! So many brushes sold in pet stores aren’t suitable for the coat they’re being used on.

🐾 Brushing the top doesn’t mean you’re reaching the skin! Your dog might look beautifully brushed on the outside while knots and tangles are forming underneath.

🐾 Some brushes can actually damage the coat! Certain deshedding tools, bladed brushes and poorly designed slickers can cause unnecessary coat damage or discomfort.

🐾 The right tools make a HUGE difference! Less pulling, more effective brushing and a much more comfortable experience for your dog!
