We recently welcomed Coco's gorgeous litter of 6 purebred Red Australian Cattle Dog puppies into Kantenna Park Veterinary Clinic for their first vaccinations, microchipping and health checks! 💉🐾

All 6 beautiful puppies are still searching for their forever homes! 🏡❤️

🐱 FOUND KITTEN – HELP GOOSE FIND HIS FAMILY! 🐱

We recently had this absolutely gorgeous little kitten brought into Kantenna Park Veterinary Clinic as a stray, and we're hoping our wonderful community can help us reunite him with his family! ❤️🐾

This handsome little boy is estimated to be around 3–4 months old, and our staff have affectionately nicknamed him Goose!

We're happy to report that Goose is a healthy little boy, and he's currently safe in our care while we try to locate his owners.

With such an adorable little face, we're sure someone out there must be missing this beautiful boy! ❤️

🚨 IMPORTANT – OWNER URGENTLY NEEDED!

Logan City Council has already been contacted to arrange collection of Goose.

If Goose belongs to you, please contact our clinic AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can verify ownership and arrange to cancel his council collection before he is picked up.

We would absolutely love to see Goose reunited with his family rather than having to make the trip to council. 🏡🐱

🐶🤎 MEET AMALIE, COCO & THEIR BEAUTIFUL SISTER! 🤎🐶

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming three absolutely gorgeous Groodle puppies into Kantenna Park Veterinary Clinic for their vaccinations and microchipping! 💉🐾

These beautiful girls certainly stole a few hearts during their visit! 🥰

🤎 Coco – A gorgeous girl with a beautiful chocolate coat.

🤎 Amalie – A stunning girl with a chocolate merle coat.

🤎 Their beautiful sister – Another gorgeous girl with a lighter chocolate merle coat, who is lucky enough to be staying with her owner! ❤️

While their sister already has her forever home, Amalie and Coco are still searching for their perfect families! 🏡🐾

💉 WHY ARE PUPPY VACCINATIONS SO IMPORTANT?

Vaccinations are an essential part of giving puppies a healthy start to life. Their puppy vaccination course helps build protection against serious and potentially life-threatening infectious diseases, including:

🐾 Parvovirus – A highly contagious virus that can cause severe gastrointestinal illness.

🐾 Distemper – A serious viral disease that can affect the respiratory, digestive and nervous systems.

🐾 Infectious Canine Hepatitis – A viral infection that can cause serious liver disease.

Puppies require a series of vaccinations while they're young, so it's important to follow the schedule recommended by your veterinarian. 🩺❤️

🔎 WHY IS MICROCHIPPING IMPORTANT?

Microchipping provides your puppy with a permanent form of identification. If they ever become lost, their microchip can be scanned to help reunite them with their family. Remember to keep your registered contact details up to date!

🐾 PUPPY PRESCHOOL – TWO CLASSES AVAILABLE! 🐾

Give your puppy a positive start to a lifetime of learning with our 5-week Puppy Preschool Course at Kantenna Park Veterinary Clinic! 💙

Our classes are run by experienced dog trainers Dale Formosa and Margaret Wedgwood, who each have over 50 years of experience in dog training and behaviour.

🐶 ALL BREEDS ARE WELCOMED & ENCOURAGED!

Whether your puppy is small, medium or large, Puppy Preschool is a great opportunity to build confidence, learn important skills and experience positive socialisation.

📅 TWO CLASSES AVAILABLE – BOTH 4PM–5PM

🐾 Tuesday Class

For medium and large breeds

🐾 Thursday Class

Continuing as usual for small breeds

📋 Enrolment Requirements:
✔️ Puppies can attend from 8 weeks of age
✔️ Puppies must be up to date with their vaccinations
✔️ At least their first vaccination must be completed before enrolling
✔️ Proof of vaccination is required

🎓 During our 5-week course, we focus on socialisation, basic obedience skills, building confidence, encouraging positive behaviours and strengthening the bond between you and your puppy.

👤🐶 ONE PUPPY, ONE HANDLER

Training is most effective when each puppy has their own handler. If you are enrolling multiple puppies, please ensure there is an additional person available to work individually with each puppy throughout the class.

💚 Families are welcome to be involved! Puppy Preschool is a wonderful opportunity for the family to learn together and help create consistency for your puppy at home.

UPDATE: Pigeon has found a home!

🕊️❤️ FOUND PIGEON – HELP US FIND HIS FAMILY! ❤️🕊️

We currently have this gorgeous pigeon safely in our care at Kantenna Park Veterinary Clinic, and we would love to help reunite him with his family. 🏡

This little fellow has a band on his leg containing identifying details, which we will be keeping private so they can be used to help confirm his rightful owner.

If you believe this beautiful pigeon may be yours, please contact our clinic. We will ask you to provide the details shown on his leg band so we can confirm ownership before he heads home. 🕊️💕

🐩💕 DAISY’S LITTLE ONES ARE READY FOR THEIR NEXT ADVENTURE! 💕🐩

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Daisy’s gorgeous litter of Miniature Poodles into Kantenna Park Veterinary Clinic for their first vaccinations and microchips! 🐾💉

There were plenty of adorable little faces to keep our team busy, and we’re very happy to say that almost all of these beautiful babies already have their forever homes waiting for them! 🏡❤️

There is just one special little boy still searching for his family—the gorgeous pure black boy. 🖤🐩 He is patiently waiting for the right family to come along and give him a loving home of his very own.

💉 WHY ARE PUPPY VACCINATIONS IMPORTANT?

Vaccinations are an important part of protecting puppies against serious and potentially life-threatening infectious diseases, including parvovirus, distemper and infectious canine hepatitis.
