“On Friday, our beautiful boy Miller took a turn for the worse, and we found ourselves facing the reality we have been desperately trying to avoid. We are now in hospice, receiving end of life care for our precious boy.
Over the past few hours, Miller has deteriorated significantly. We have been told that we may now only have days left with him.
There are no words to explain what it feels like to write those words about your own child.
We have spent the past 3 years fighting alongside Miller. We have watched him endure more than any little boy ever should have to, and through it all, he has continued to show us just how incredibly strong he is. We have fought for every extra day, every smile, every cuddle, every little moment we could possibly have with him.
And now, our only job is to love him.
To hold him.
To kiss him.
To tell him how much he is loved.
To make sure he is surrounded by the people who adore him.
And to make these final days as peaceful and full of love as we possibly can.
Our family is completely broken.
While we are here in hospice with Miller, David is unable to work, which means our family currently has no income coming in. We are completely focused on being with Miller and our children, and we simply cannot think about work or finances when our little boy needs us more than ever.
For that reason, we are reposting our GoFundMe.
We know that so many people have already supported us, donated, shared our story, sent messages, prayed for Miller and helped us get through moments we never imagined we would have to face. We will never, ever be able to properly thank you for that kindness.
If you are able to donate, your support will help us through the days ahead and the enormous financial burden that comes with this devastating time while allowing David to remain by Miller’s side and allowing our family to stay together without having to worry about how we are going to get through financially.
If you can’t donate, please don’t feel that you need to. Sharing our fundraiser, leaving a message, or simply keeping Miller in your thoughts means more to us than you could ever know.
Right now, we don’t know exactly how many days we have left with our boy.
So we are going to make every single one count.
Please keep our beautiful Miller in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate the hardest days of our lives”
