🐾 Casual Dog Bather Wanted

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable and animal-loving Dog Bather to join our team on a casual basis.

This is a varied and fast-paced role, so we’re looking for someone who is confident, hardworking and enjoys working with dogs.

🛁 About the Role

Your duties will include:

Bathing, drying and brushing dogs
Basic coat preparation and de-shedding
Safe and confident handling of dogs
General cleaning and maintaining a clean, hygienic work environment
General support duties within the business
Working efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
Other duties as required

🐶 About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Certificate II in Animal Care Services
Current driver’s licence
Previous experience working with dogs
A genuine love and understanding of animals
Confidence handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments
The ability to work in a varied and fast-paced environment
A reliable, positive and hardworking attitude
Good attention to detail and pride in your work
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Paid experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

💙HESTER IS STILL WAITING FOR HIS NEW HOME TO COME ALONG! HE IS A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE PUG AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HIS NEW FAMILY IS TAKING SO LONG TO COME AND COLLECT HIM. Are you the perfect family for Hester?
💙Hester is an eight‑year‑old Pug currently in foster care in Sydney, and he truly is one of the loveliest little souls you could hope to meet. He is a happy, friendly, social butterfly who moves through the world as though everyone is already his friend. During his time in foster care he has lived a full and joyful life; he has been to the office where he was an instant hit, he has trotted along to netball training and proudly attended the Saturday games, and he has become a café‑social regular who loves nothing more than being right in the middle of the action. Hester is pictured sitting on the front porch waiting for his foster carer to come home and take he and his mates on a walk. No cats please!

💙He adores other dogs, especially Pugs, and has formed a beautiful bond with his foster Puggies, Elvis and Frank. His foster home has given him a wonderful time and he has soaked up every moment, even sleeping on his foster sister’s bed at night, curled up against her as though he has always belonged. Hester loves going out for walks, loves meeting people, loves being included, and truly enjoys life to the maximum. He would thrive in a home with another Pug, as he lights up around them and finds great comfort in their company. He is a house Pug through and through and must always have access inside the home, close to his people and part of daily life.

💙Hester is eight years old and was heartbreakingly dumped at the pound, yet he has shown nothing but sweetness, resilience and joy. In the photo he is sitting outside on the front porch, waiting patiently for his foster carers to come home and take him for a nice walk, his little face full of hope and happiness.
